Totally agree. If she had lost reasonably fairly or fairly officiated anyway, I think there would have been a continuing viewership. I'm not about drama except for the drama of the moment, does the shot drop? Does it get off before the buzzer? How is adversity met? I don't want rivalries that results in blatant cheating and blind refs. If I was, I'd watch pro wrestling. Part of me hopes she retires. The abuse, if it doesn't permanently injure her, will still seep into her soul and destroy her from the inside out, and that I will not watch.

It us ok to give fouls , and even sometimes hard fouls that can not be avoided. Because, basketball is really a tough game to play. As long as THE PLAYERs are REALLY AFTER THE BALL ( not the player with the ball). And MOST IMPORTANTLY, the REFs will SEE & CALL those OBVIOUS FOULs. HOWEVER, from the previous games of the majority of teams vs Ind Fevers, most of the fouls are deliberate and have noticed the hard fouls were mostly done to CC but not with other fever players. Obviously a 'hate &/or jealous ' fouls.

They meshed and a LOT of great play comes from those players.... and it'll only get better and better... and the more those 4 keep getting better and meshing naturally, they'll be unstoppable... and every other team will either be trying to do the same, or they'll get stomped..

The same thing has been happening at NIKE. They signed Caitlin for $28 million over 8 years which included a shoe deal. The entire season passed without ONE CC commercial, no CC shoe has been made, and the NIKE stock has dropped with the CEO being replaced. In NIKE's case, it put "fairness" above business, not wanting to get lambasted on social media for putting CC ahead of A'ja Wilson.

Excuse me, commentator, Caitlin Clark has never been a nobody. The young woman has been working on her skills since she was a little girl. She views basketball as her job. It's not a game to her. It's her career. She has been studying her passion for a very long time. I feel it's time to have the old players retire. You have a new generation coming up. These old women and dirty players are going to continue to ruin the WNBA like they have all the years prior. The ladies coming up has seen just how dirty and disrespectful even their player looked up to. They dreamed of meeting them and playing with them. Diana toursi proved them to be rude hateful and disrespectful.

It isn't that they relied on one Superstar because they didn't they totally abused her and they did nothing to promote her she promoted herself and no fans don't want to see Katniss and rivalries that's for the woke mob okay we don't want to see that s*** we want to watch good games players that know how to play and pass and and shoot from the logo that's what we want to say we don't want to hear these players coming out and using the damn race card the victim card and beaten up on the star of The League no that's not what we want we want to watch good basketball we want people to be respectful of other people I mean Asia Wilson oh she's supposed to be the biggest thing ever yet I never f****** heard of this girl and told Caitlin and let me just say thank God for Caitlin Clark because I wouldn't know who any of these damn people are I never heard any of their damn names except Brittney Griner and her name wasn't because of something good or because of her playing quite frankly I don't think she's a good player I don't think Diana is a good player maybe she was at one time but you know 42 years old maybe time to hang up your hat just saying women's bodies are different than men's maybe men can play longer I don't know 42 is not old but this game is very grueling so I don't know I just think they should have done better by Clark and they're going to lose because they didn't because if this is the way they're going to treat all their rookies to hell with them I'll never watch

So all it sounds like is these people want to promote everybody else besides Caitlin.... Nobody put no fckin eggs in one basket.... Caitlin was pretty much the only egg because of her playing... So by promoting lesser players, it's the same as giving out trophies to ALL the kids... Not only to the very top notch players, but to ALL the kids just for showing the fck up... I NEVER agreed with that BS mindset.... When I was growing up (and face it, the majority pf this league IS NOT), there was no participation prize BS.. You had your winners and you had your losers... and I was usually in the losers lets not BS anybody here... But seeing those guys win and celebrate made most of the rest of us work that much harder to get up there on top... That type of incentive carried through many aspects of my life because I was never GIVEN anything.... The things I had were ALL EARNED... and I very much feel good about that... There are very few of those people playing in the wnba whose game cannot improve with a little work and advice... Hell, Caitlin knows HER game can improve, and she WANTS that.... If those other people in the wnba are true athletes (and a few are NOT), their main goals would be to step up THEIR games and improve instead of trying to hurt an athlete that is nothing but gold for the league... and the racism and jealousy is off the fcking charts with many of them... Instead of hating on her, go back and watch her moves, her stances, watch her techniques on her shots, try to apply things to your own game... maybe just ever so slightly adjusting on something might just make a huge difference. But the hating and trying to hurt her? Very, very poor sportsmanship and only enforces the hoodrat thug BS that doesn't help ANYbody... I'd bet BIG money the reffing will tighten up next season that thugball crap is gonna cost some serious jack and time off the court, because that 3rd world shyt has no place in quality sports.

They need to play better basketball. They need to enforce the rules. They need to play by the rules. They need to protect their players from each other. They need to eliminate "non basketball" plays (thuggery). This could have been a monster year for the WNBA. Instead, the league, the players, the coaches, and the refs conspired to sap the season of all of its energy and good vibes. They made it into a bad vibes league instead of a good vibed league. They made the season into the WWNBA vs Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. The Fever should break off and start the USWBL a la the USFL. Except this time the startup league will eat the established league for lunch, attracting all the viewers, TV ratings, merch sales, and incoming rookies. Or, CC should go to a Euro team. She could take Mitchell, Boston, and Hull with her. That is what went so very wrong for the WWNBA this year. They learned that CC had a lot of fans but managed to lose most of their own fans by how they reacted to CC's success. I used to be a Mystics fan. Now, I may never watch another WWNBA game again. Yeah, CC might come back, but will the league's foul odor and taste ever go away? I doubt it.

You mention everything except everything important. Maybe time to stop being scared of people who talk , also if they had treated CC in the manner she deserved from the very 1st hit she took, or acted like the GM, Coach , or the TEAM and fought for her right to play without the crap and the knocks, that said, i'm going to keep taking it and be humble and i'm not going to moan. Then all this would not have got so far to the point of every one and their dog can kick her and no one doe's anything. I am not talking about wrapping her in cotton !! i'm talking about protecting their franchise. The best player to come out of college ever, they had the responsibility to have her back, C Sides should be held accountable for the way she was bullied, the GM, you don't worry about the come backs the fines, you just protect. Then they would not of kept coming for her, and we wouldn't be here with this racist shit going on.

That's why no one can convince me that Caitlin was not the MVP of this year. I agree that there may be another player that was better than her but most valuable player, it was definitely Caitlin. Unless "valuable" has changed meaning.

2 million viewers for the playoff before fever elimination, under 200k since. Personally I don't think this is because people don't like the other teams necessarily but what they do detest is the unfairness of the WNBA officiating and policies. The Rookie of the Year stabbed by a woman wearing long fingernails on the basketball court and it looked rather intentional and yet a foul isn't even called. The Rookie of the Year is charged with a technical foul for slapping a stanchion. The Rookie of the Year throughout the season ,out of all the fouls committed, 17 percent of them we're committed against her and yet the WNBA said not one word. Here's your residual effect that people like me are disgusted with the league while we are not disgusted with the fever performance, the fever behavior or even their coach. The league needs some serious reform and it needs to be slapping some hands and behind to put it in to this racist nonsense that it's been brought up. That isn't the fever fans pushing back against nothing because it's been real. And I don't actually include the lesbians in this fight this is mostly been a black versus white thing because the black women seem to think they are supposed to dominate , even when a true star and once in a generation player shows up, who just happens to be white. The fever not only had to fight to make their team a coordinated effort, rising from the bottom of the league to be in the playoffs, they had to fight certain Legacy members of the other teams, certain media Outlets who chose to use commentators who were full of s***, and the league management that thinks it's fine to go out there with stabbing tools on the end of your fingers and never receive a foul for poking it in other people's eyes. In my opinion the reason viewership ended with cc is because none of us like the fundamental unfairness that has been on full display by the WNBA and some of the other players. We are all waiting with bated breath to see if the WNBA will grow up and become a professional League instead of the Dalton Gang and open thuggery on the court that they seem to prefer right now

No. Thats what made the regular NBA less effective. Too much dribbling wasting precious seconds instead of passing for a assist so they can show off the constant left right movement talent. Crossovers are okay. But not to the extent of And 1. Theres a reason why Kobe plays a lot differently on the court compared to off court. He can do all those movements. But his time is more spent just trying to get those buckets. She already makes enough headlines. Wont work well if shes taking more time dribble dribble dribble then lose the game.

When you watch Clark it’s just like watching the best male basketball players. You can’t believe she can do what she does. It looks like it defines physical possibility. When you watch the other WNBA players, it looks awkward. Compared to the best men, it’s not fun to watch. It doesn’t matter if they score more points. Did you hear that? It doesn’t matter if they score more points, it’s not fun to watch. Sorry if I’ve hurt someone’s feelings. But, when you’re a professional, you give the fans the entertainment that they want! I guess women don’t understand what it means to be in a professional… grow up and smell the coffee!

The WNBA didn’t make it about Kaitlyn Clark, or else they would’ve protected her. The WNBA didn’t make it about Kaitlyn Clark or in addition to the fans because there are a few they would have called out the prejudice and racism and the pettiness from the other women players. For all, they did and didn’t do any sport boils down to the fans and if they don’t like the players, they will fail!

The WNBA's actions all year told the fans of basketball that the WNBA is an disorganized league that is complicit in the abuse handed down to their unanimous ROY. They did everything they could to stop her and couldnt. The WNBA was so obvious in their dislike for CC that the fans understood that when CC was no longer in the playoffs, there is no reason to watch. And that was the message sent to Fans all season long.
