It is not the trash talk It is not the excessive fouls It is the refs acting as if the fouls did not happen And the blatant eye poke is way too far. In the NBA, Jordan, Bird, Barkley have had other players try to rough them up. (bad boys of detroit) But the ref's called the fouls. And when Barkley was trying to make his way down the court and the player guarding him was on him like a cheap suit, Barkley stopped dribbling and turned to the player and quit literally threw him off himself. Barkley made his point, but he also got the foul call. After that the refs started to call the fouls on the defensive player when they happened. We all know, as soon as Clark tries to stand up for herself like Jordan of Bird or any other players in the NBA would have, the refs would call a foul on her and not the offending WNBA player. The injustice is the refs failing to call the blatant foul committed on Clark. And where is the Fever coach to call out the refs for failing to call those foul There is no way in hell an NBA coach would let their player cuss out the refs, but that NBA coach would sure as hell be in the ref's face for not calling the fouls. Even if the coach got a technical. It reeks of corruption from the WNBA management. If the ref's are not being punished for failing to do their job. The WNBA management wanted it to happen.

Where was Caitlin's coach? Apparently you missed the articles that told how many fouls had been called against her, the coach, as well as the fact that she was constantly reporting all the flagrant fouls and thuggery to the association, so it's not like she was sitting there accepting it all as good or turning a blind eye. The whole WNBA needed to wake up and realize what they were accepting as OK actions that WERE NOT okay!!

That said, if she stays in the WNBA, and continues to improve, I'll be expecting her to get MVP year after year and if that happens, your comment will be proven right.
