Aight someone has to mathematically calculate the shape of the board and the pieces to minimize friction so that they can wobble for as long as possible. Also next time you can oil the board.

7:19 black bishop to e5 instead of knight to f5 would have been awesome, protect the knight while also threatening the rook. When he moves his rook you can then move your rook to b8, which threatens the queen, protects the pawn on b2 and its protected by the bishop you just moved. Instant game changer

I guess this can be used to make topple resistant chess pieces. Give the pieces more of a flat base so that in time limit moves chess pieces don't get knocked over its position accidentally.

lol here's a wacky idea. Instead of the timer, what if you have to move before all pieces stops wobbling? Like maybe sit on a steady surface and make the board itself wobble after every move, with some uneven supports on the 4 corners.

This is actually pretty good! People with arthritis, or other problems affecting their arms/hands could benefit from it, while it wobbles alot, it makes it harder for pieces to fall over and knock other ones down, creating unnessescary messes :)

Good thing about these wobbly pieces is that they always get to the center of squares. It is very irritating to see how some people move their pieces very sloppily and place them near edges and sometimes even partially cover neighbour squares.

The outstanding design of this chess piece set is the tracing of action and tension between pieces. The oscillations shows the structures in the game if it is played methodically. The man who proposed this design is a genius. It serves the game quite too well I would say.

Picture this: you're playing with virtual or holographic pieces that have some degree of humanlike anatomy, as pieces do in some styles. They're normally perfectly still, but at random intervals, one of them will stretch, scratch, yawn, shuffle their feet, check the draw on their sword, &c. Not frequently, maybe one piece every five minutes on average, at random intervals. Just enough to distract you a little.
