Gujaratis after 1947 rallied for rebuilding Somnath temple but when Idi Amin expelled 80k hindus from uganda who were mostly gujaratis, the same state just watched the incident & did nothing to take them back. They were abondoned but finally it was british who took them back not indian. There is a reason uganda hindus descendents hate Indians.

You sound like a typical ignorant woketard peddling half truths. Indira Gandhi while being the PM had refused to help them while taking no action against Uganda at that time, while Gujarat state was also under a congress government. Additionally, Ugandan indians were already citizens of the United Kingdom and colonies which made it easier to relocate to uk, Canada and Australia etc. Though 4k indians from Uganda did make their way back to india. And no Ugandan Hindus are literally the most pro hindu and pro jndia groups of the entire lot even compared to the later indian immigrants.

Lol, when you have an option to choose between India and the UK, most would choose the UK over India, especially that of '70s and '80s. In fact, many are better connected to India than those who went to the UK directly from India.

Now what we are seeing with this woke culture is everyone wants to be oppressed to gain advantage and they choose the oppressor according to their own choice.(eg- in India they say Muslims are oppressed and Hindus are the oppressor and they must be destroyed when on the other hand the Muslims ruled the Hindus for 400 years) That's cultural Marxism 101. And to his question why China and Russia are not doing it.. They are not doing it because they have done it. Under mao in China and stalin in Russia there have been large scale purges to destroy the oppressor(the capitalists or anyone who don't agree with the ruler) and you can read about Chinese cultural revolution and Stalin's Gulag. I agree with a Lexie that cultural Marxism is fake term.any cultural or social dialectics can not be termed as cultural Marxism.it is just to prolong the Marxian legacy which is already exhausted.as earlier capitalism colluded with feudalism and Lenin alleged that capitalism is abondenimg its historical role of not completing the democratic revolution and hence the proletarian revolution so today’s developed bourgeoise is collaborating with the state controlled capitalism and at home providing a cultural woke superstructure which is a bourgeoise instrument and not a Marxist one

It’s common to justify liberalism on the grounds that ’there will always be disagreements’, but this is misleading. The kind of disagreement liberalism thrives on isn’t at all the kind of disagreement that would persist in any system. In a ‘collectivist’ system there would still be disagreements over what course of action is best and institutions might exaggerate their needs to their own advantage, but the means by which this would be reduced would be by improving measures of social utility. The entire apparatus of liberalism is antithetical to treating disagreement in this way and seeking to reduce it in this way. Instead disagreement is treated as fundamental, as stemming from a plurality of views that must be summed together or selected between.

Very out-of-the-box thinking by this guy. I don't know that I buy the line that U.S. DoD funds and approves almost all the research on U.S. college campuses, though. And having read the history and growth trajectory of Critical Theory which is what "woke" is when talking in pop cultural language, I would have to say that "woke" isn't what DoD/elites/establishment pushed, but rather they did take it on with gusto post-2008 likely in order to shield themselves from brickbats thrown by the lies of Tea Party and by Occupy Wall St movement. Fast Forward to 2017, Trump election, and the woke-industrial complex simply got turbocharged. Critical Theory (Wokeism) started off as an outsiders' movement, but has now become the elite it sought to cut down to size. True to their Marxian philosophical anchors, the Woke now having gained power and becoming the establishment, have no qualms of shutting out intellectual opposition... therefore we now have thought policing and all other accoutrements of Marxist regime-- this is not liberalism and nor is it liberal democracy. The only reason liberal democracies in U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, India, etc are giving way to illiberal Far Left/Marxist Wokeism is because they all fail to heed the litmus test of Karl Popper's paradox: if a society is tolerant without limit, its ability to be tolerant is eventually seized or destroyed by the intolerant.

Why there Is No Woke left Ideology In China, Japan, South Korea ?
@bishwadeepdas
3 жыл бұрын
I think there are a few reasons, the main one being that the foundational ideas behind the formation of these cultures or civilisations are very different from the West, which was formed on liberal values, from the enlightenment onwards. Woke ideology thrives more in these liberal environments. In Japan, for instance, being fat is looked down upon, their attitude towards the outside world might come off as xenophobic, and they seem to have no reaction towards modern feminism. Other factors could be how seriously a society takes the cultivation of arts and humanities.
@shreyahttps
3 жыл бұрын
South Korea does have these woke idiots in their country, cancel culture is very prevelent there as well. Many netizens also make internet personalities apologize or have their jobs lost for moving moving away from popular public opinion on certain political topics. They too also have the radical feminist types. South Korea imo is an American neo colony, where the popular American discourse on any topic is by default also the view of South Korean state and among the public where America and English is considered something to look up to. I think the reason why it's not making global headlines is because of S. Korea's disconnect with the anglophone world 'cause of the language barrier. And about China, it's a authoritarian regime where everyone complies because their don't want to have the ccp knocking at their door just a minute after they put all this woke bs up on the internet. So the basically the reason behind China being immune from woke bs is regulation of internet and very strict surveillance of it's ppl.

The only way left to save Bengal and even assam is to create some armed insurgency against the bengali miyas and bong librands otherwise this virus is going to come out and affect other NE states.

The problems with armed insurgencies is that they tend to go out of control pretty quickly.

@@madhosinghgujjar1298 Yes people have the right to defend themselves, but guns can only be allowed in societies were state has monopoly on violence and law and order is strong. Currently India is not strong on law and order, but in future if it is strong enough guns should be allowed. Also the original comment talks about insurgencies, which are always destructive to societies.

@@adarsh_1 yes u are correct the original comment is not well thought of my comment is about how to counter situation in Bengal. Well I don't know your political biliefs are but current government of bengal if not directly but covertly supporting violence against members of a particular political affiliation just because they are part or support that political party. If the goverment is against you and let the goons do whatever they want people can protect themselves only by might of arms .
