I'm glad that you can manage those wolves there. In other areas of washington they have destroyed the elk, and mule deer populations. I see more and more wolf scat and less and less deer and elk.

Thanks for taking us along on the adventure. I remember having an Olympic shooting coach at one of the gun clubs I was shooting trap at tell us years ago, Never ever let a person under 16 shoot anything larger than a 410 because their brains are still too soft and can have serious long term effects from taking the heavy recoil of anything larger. Cheers from a long time fellow arborist in Ontario Canada. Stay safe

@@mountainlifewithdavidkelsie well, you can’t win them all. They’re so smart that they’ve learned that “we” tend to be “preying” on their weaknesses. Hearing, Smell and Hunger, just like almost all animals but it’s just that some animals are more prone than others to being “tricked” into what “we” want them to do.

@@mountainlifewithdavidkelsie wolfing is my obsession. If you ever need some pointers don't be shy to ask, I kill several every season. If I'm calling them, I mix up the sounds I toss at them, they'll respond to a howl, but wolves know how wolves work, so they slow up cuz they assume the "wolf" they heard isn't alone. I also try to howl as high pitched as I can, so I sound like a pup, they don't wanna come fight an alpha dog. I like to make some cow/calf mews, and some howls, that way they think someone is eating their elk

@@mountainlifewithdavidkelsie north-east Washington is getting destroyed by wolf an cats. Local natives to me (absolutely no disrespect to you) don’t even hunt their land. They hunt off the reservation, because they have destroyed their game population LONG LONG time ago. They hunt in areas we have to draw for. In areas that take YEAR before someone is lucky enough draws a tag. That don’t help out much neither around me. That’s why we travel. But from all the videos I just watched.
