I was asked to show what pots are in the shop today and I added on a little tour in the workroom .The pots for sale start at 5:30 ... All the best to all here ..Yours Guy
Hey Guy, that was...beautiful. I could almost smell the dust, the clay and glaze. It reminded me of a wood turning workshop I visited in Damascus years ago. Such a sense of a place, age and skill gathering over the years. When this over, I’m visiting CT and will leave with a small white pot, strapped to the back of a....Guzzi (probably). Cheers, Phil.

As you say it's a nice room. It looks just like what we all think a pottery should look, hope it's warm in the winter. Tough thing about the bell jars. My mother once made almost 100 large ribbed baskets ordered as corporate gifts, they only took a third of them and not at the agreed on price. The big boys can be like that. I can imagine the blanching bell jar market will be hard to find. Forgive me, you'll just have to start growing the sea kale it might be easier marketing that.

The showroom is Silvainious Bishop's two room house from 1761 .and the shop was added in 2007.Both have an envelope of Stresskin panels so it almost heats itself .. :)

I am curious ... is the under rope done with a coggle wheel or free formed and added on?
@guywolff

Both methods can be used ..I make my own coggles to work on a half round bead I make while throwing
