I have to agree with this comment. Although at the same time, we can’t possibly know what someone else’s perspective is. But one thing seems to be pretty clear, and that is that there are thousands and thousands of musicians out there that would love an opportunity to cut through the constant inflow of new content every day, and get noticed even just for 15 minutes I think it’s always been hard, but it’s more challenging now But even more to the point, is how elusive it can be to create memorable songs, that people sing along with Unfortunately, the greatest guitar playing and the greatest singing are not usually as memorable as a great song can be So many songs, Van Halen put out that just had so many memorable hooks, I think we could all make a pretty solid list without trying too hard So incredible that beyond his fathers incredible legacy as a guitar innovator, and virtuoso, are the songs that so many people love singing, along with, including myself But development can take time, and this new young virtuoso is young still Keep going Wolfgang, we’re all supporting you brother!! :)

I was named after my father, who was a very well liked popular business owner in my hometown. I grew up having to live up to his name. The easiest route for me in life would have been to do everything my father did, to latch on to every advantage he offered me and to eventually take his legacy and business over. I optioned to do other things in life because I felt that I would never feel that I truly earned success having just accepted what was handed to me. Wolfie joined Van Halen. He named his band after Van Halen's first band name and put WVH in the band name. He launched his career by posting a tribute song to his dad. This dude has done everything possible to cash in on the fact that he's a Van Halen and now he calls it a hindrance.

I'm 65. Just a touch younger than Eddie, I'm also from the San Gabriel Valley in SoCal. Less than 1/2hr from where Ed & Al grew up, who I knew a bit because 1 of their neighbors was my boss at my 1st job delivering pizzas. My boss Rob could hear I enjoyed RnR every time I started my 63 Bug. So he invited me to a background Kegger featuring the best (there was lots of them, too) band in the area, VH. He wasn't kidding either! That's beside the point though. I'd agree with Wolfe though too. Of course doors can be opened, but if your opportunity isn't handled correctly it can just a more well funded disaster. Celebrity offspring not parented correctly is Bad Parenting plugged into a guitar Amplifier. Either way even under the best of circumstances it's a Minefield. Wolfe seems like a pretty cool balanced young dude, no disrespect whatsoever is meant in saying this either, but overeating is also a form of coping.
