Thanks George, looking forward to taking the WD2 out for the first time.. lets hope she behaves. The biggest problem is the float. She flooded again at the start of the video. Float must have stuck. Cheers, Dan

Hi, the WD is a UK product.. a fine engine indeed. I should imagine a few WD's made it to the states. We seem to have hundreds of American engines here in the UK. Although I haven't seen or heard of a WD in America. Im glad this engine is finally finished. Should be at its first rally in october :) Dan

Nice Dan, nothing like finding the last piece of the puzzle and getting it all together. Are Wolseleys a U.K. product ? never seen one here in the states. they remind me of the older Wisconsins as they also have the external gear driven magneto.

Hi Steve, thank you :) You could try the stationary engine forum 'stationary-engine (dot) net' post a wanted ad and see what comes up. Or you could try ebay. You should pick up a runner for around £80 Cheers, Dan

Whats the name of that gear pump?

Thats not good practice with these old engines and old mags.. switching off the fuel is the best way to stop them, no fuel in the float chamber to go stall and sticky etc. There are two stop buttons on the mag which earth out the spark. Plus with these impulse mags you'll get one hell of a shock lol Dan

wouldn't it be easier to disconnect the plug lead to stop her? :)
