Some of these comments actually disgust me? How are people trying to sit here and blame her or justify this man actions? As someone who was also sexually assaulted at a young age, I know from experience this is not an easy thing to go through. I am still not comfortable with going to the police with my case cause it was over 3 years ago and it just feels like a lost cause to me now. But this is probably the most traumatic experience she's ever gone through and I can say the same for myself. It completely changed who I was as a person, and I cannot stress that enough. You don't even feel human for awhile afterwards you just feel like an object that people can use as they please.

That's how innocent guys get charged of rape pretty often. A lot of judges will believe girls when there's little to no evidence. There needs to be evidence to actually charged the person. This is why rape is one of the hardest cases since the evidence is really never there. Also girls/guys will speak up too late. Unfortunately a lot people will falsely accused another person for rape and its pretty sad

Respectful kids are trained fm birth to respect & follow all directions given by an adult. That's why they are such easy prey. They have no point of prior reference abt sexual acts. This is grooming/pedophilia. Utterly wrong. I struggle to sympathy with these girls 18-26 who go to a directors hotel room then claim they didn't know what they are doing. That's so many levels of bullshit. But this is different. The young girl is 13 she was seeing a teacher for the perpose of education. He's abused this trust and harmed a child. I think her parents have been utterly reckless with their daughter. The time passed from the offense makes prosecution difficult. We need to get girls educated to come forward about these offenses sooner. Dealing with these offenses 10 years down the line makes the whole situation worse. Leaves other people at risk. If women came forward straight after the offense then their story is instantly more credible. Women need to be taught about moral courage and the right place to speak out.

Stories like this are as old as Hollywood. They call it the "casting couch", with predators dangling fame and money in front of the young, naive and desperate. Curly Sue said it to Cameron Thor the best when he asked to kiss her on the cheek and she said, "IN A PIG'S EYE!"

I have heard about this, it happens a lot in hollywood its very sad that young people are abused just to get a part in a movie.

I just left a article with a woman teacher molesting a 13 year old boy and 96percent of the comments was the boy had a good time let the teacher go. But since a man molest a girl everyone said I feel sorry for her lock him up

8 years, I was really hoping for more. Did she even bother to reject or oppose to what he was doing? I am just wondering how he managed to do all of that.

Are you familiar with statutory rape? There are ages (varies from state to state) where the child is considered unable to mitigate. Mentally incompetent to judge, consent, etc. This means that however he managed is irrelevant (meaning she willfully let him let's say for argument's sake) as she falls within the statutory age of automatic guilt. So it now only becomes a matter of "Did he sleep with her? (presume Y) "Was she X age or younger?" (presume Y) then convict once proof of the act is established. One thing your point brings up though which is about as big as gun control and abortion.... can the sole testimony of the victim and NOTHING ELSE be enough to convict? This opens up the court for massive abuse.Lorena Bobbit will no longer be the boogie man of misogynists. Instead it will be women at large. Better be REAL REAL careful who you sleep with b/c she may just get pissed at you one day and cry rape and you rot and die in prison no questions asked...THAT to me is just as bad a "rape culture" as the one these 3rd wave feminists are trying to sell to the public at large... It just empowers the women to be cruel sadistic criminal abusers instead of the men.Monsters nonetheless...This all being said, rape is a horrible thing and it always destroys the life of the woman... for what length is up to the woman...

***** Ahh yes makes complete sense. Completely forgot about Statutory rape. As minor the person is still an adult to realize what he was doing is wrong.

I bet if she'd become a successful actress due to his influence, we'd never have heard of this sting.

It would still bother her. Many famous actresses have talked about things like this that happened to them.

@@amichaels1871 So much "trauma" and shame that she goes on national TV to discuss it. It's in vogue to claim sexual victmhood. She got the club membership by going public.

@@KrzysztofMarchański Did you watch the end of this video? She called him and pretended to be really into having sex with him. He believed her and police used that conversation to arrest him. So like I said, her acting was good enough to fool her acting coach.
