The quote about not looking back was actually made by great pitcher Satchel Paige.

Thanks again for posting these conference champs. Only way I could figure out how to see what the Wolfpack distance squad was doing to the ACC. I like it.

Looks like 5400 ft of altitude doesn't agree with Bunnage, 2023 Pac-12 XC Champ.

Natalie Cook was the #1 HS runner. Goes to Oklahoma, then strangely transferred to Colorado where she hasn't run in 1 year! Dalia Frias, top 4 HS runner, made a massive mistake going to Duke.. then made a bigger mistake transferring to Oregon. Both major flops like Brie Oakley, Claudia Lane, Sarah Baxter

Cook suffered a stress fracture in her foot after 2023 Indoors that completely ended her season. She then transferred to CU. Taking into account her season ending injury AND the fact she spent her entire life at sea level, sitting out the year is totally expected. Then like 2 months ago Cook announced SPINAL FRACTURE! So you can probably understand why she's not racing in 2024. "after months of solid training I was ready to step back on the track after a year long hiatus. however, a few weeks ago I had sudden back pain on my four mile daily run, which turned out to be a stress fracture in my L5 lumbar spine. shocked and heartbroken to have this happen out of nowhere, I know that I will be back out there eventually. hoping to open up the outdoor season in may until then I will be cheering on my buffs on the sidelines"
