Keep up the good work. A beautiful tune indeed. Thanks Dan for another counter remedy to the times we live in. A little oasis of peace in a world which has too many people looking to create chaos. Music counters this. and bring people of all nations together. Amen to that!

Beautiful! This afternoon, Mom and I are going to go to a concert to hear Uneven Ground. The group's focus is on Celtic music.

Love it! Well in, very nice cover. Great song that proved an ever greater soundtrack to a favourite film of mine- Barry Lyndon.

Shampooslurper, thank you. You're right -- I had forgotten they used it in Barry Lyndon. That was a beautiful movie. I think they used the Chieftains version in the sound track. I've loved this melody since I first heard it - years ago I recorded a ringtone for my phone. It's a little confusing when people call me while I am practicing... I always have a moment of wondering how the harp is playing something different from what my fingers are playing! 😄

@@DanVeaner Haha! I can imagine. The Chieftains version is incredible too. This song is a very proper proper ringtone choice, a lovely song to be able to play.

I love the harmonies, Dan! I had a go at this tune the other day and pretty much the same harmonies suggested themselves. So obviously, you’re a man of taste and talent!

My gosh I just looked up this song I had never heard before and something is stirring in my soul. I can't believe it's a modern composition. I hate when my soul gets stirred at this age... From my heart of hearts I thank you for introducing me to this.

@@DanVeaner Oh my double gosh. I did know this one, once upon a time decades ago, from the Chieftains, of course. But years ago that cassette got shredded one sad day and I had filed this melody away. Now I remember I could scarcely bear to listen to it then either because I wanted to start crying. And I still do. Franz Schubert ain't got nothing on this air.
