This isn’t about how ‘being a housewife is bad’. This is addressing the issue of how most men back then and in power today only see women for an eligible housewife. She’s saying that now we have a women in power that can share her voice with/for us. I’m not saying being a housewife is bad btw, that’s why I put quotation marks Again, I said NOTHING about if men have it harder, if women get more lei way in society, if being a stay at home mom or dad is bad, NONE of that. Yes men have a lot of struggles too, people in general can’t just live life without being judged. Don’t put me in a box that says that I think that men don’t have struggles or that women need to be 100% treated on hand and foot. This is about one single issue, I know it’s not as much of a common thing people know about, and I said men in power because money and all that can blind you sometimes.

@@Acelyn_11 I disagree with helping a bit, atleast on the cleaning and cooking.(except for the first few years after childbirth) People don't realise how much you have to sacrifice to make enough money to support two people. You have to put consistent effort for atleast a decade and during that time the person has to limit his spending and time spend for leisure. Most men and women don't do this. So, they don't understand the idea that we had to put the effort in first and we are sharing that result with another. It really depends on what each person brings and the work each has to go through. I am not saying the wife should be burdened with work. But, if the work is little, don't expect 50/50.

What the hell they were suppost to do away from the work force for years? Being a stay at home mom is not a safe option and can fuck up your entire life.

your missing the point. she isn't saying that women are better than men or vice versa, its more about the fact that women weren't allowed to do these thing in history and how far we've come as a society. Its also great to see representation for all the little girls who want to be in a power position. Having a female vice president just shows to little girls that they can do it too and that job is an option.

@@millierocks2290 damn, must suck to not litteraly die in war for your country....man i wish my granny was pushed to die in a war Or pushed to work jobs where people regularly died Or pushed to work line 12 hours a day But these days luckily are long gone and women now would too be able to die in a useless war, die in a workplace because it is an unsafe one and now finally they too could work 12 hours..... I mean, to be completely honest i am all for gender equality and stuff (not what feminism does right now) But thinking back on the last century...if women would have had the same responsibility as man, then they probably would have had it worse...equal rights also mean to bring the same ammount of work for example....in my country we had times with 14 hours work in factories and still haf not enough money to own a house... Not even 100 years ago it was men and women, but poor and rich... A rich women was just as independent as a rich man, and a poor women was just independent as a poor man...voting is one part, but when you get fired if you do not vote what your boss tells you, doesnt really give you the right to vote...women at least didn't have to work backbreaking jobs for 14 hours a day in a dirty unhealthy factory with a probably daily fatality rate...

@@c-chubi well, then why is by law the women always in favour of custody in case of divorce? Why is the suicide rate dominated by man? Why is the workplace fatality dominatef by man? Why are in America over 2000+ clinics to help female victims of donestic violence paid by state, but for man there is nearly none and it is not paid for by state even tho that man are nearly have of domestic victims? Why can a women bodyshame man, but when a man does it, he is sexist? Why can feminists boycott mens rights activist, but when men would boycott female rights activists, they would be Sexist? Why can women opt out of Motherhood and abort the Pregnancy without the okay from the father, but the father never can and always at least has to pay child support, but if the father grts the child, the mother in almodt all cases doesn't have to pay child support? Why is it that man get drafted and women don't? Why can women literally rape someone and if getting pregnant by it, are able to go into court for Child support an win. Why can a women notice anyone as father and HE has provide evidence of him beeing not the father within 30 days and if he doesn't get it in time, he has to pay child support for years? But please enlighten me. Give me 5 unequivocally statements where women are oppressed by either societal norms or the law

UK has all women shortlists for MP candidates because when up against men they were never chosen. Now the House it's Commons is filling up with incompetent women who make a great argument to not have women at all. The men aren't much better these days really, even since the just the 80s the quality and standard of MP candidates has fallen off a cliff, it's an absolute joke comparing old MP interviews with today's.
