Until someone stops the free reign of Family Court, good men will avoid marriage and women in general. Nowadays, only 6.5 men in a thousand get married due to the following scenario: (1) man gets married, (2) wife refuses to have sex, (3) wife racks up huge credit card debt, (4) wife stops contributing financially, (5) wife stops cooking & cleaning, (6) wife cheats on husband, (7) wife files for divorce and takes the house, cars, savings, and kids, (8) wife falsely accuses husband of abuse and he no longer can see his kids, (9) wife poisons kids against the father. The reason this continues is the kids are raised by the mothers that tell the kids the women are better and the men should serve them and provide while not actually caring about the boy's happiness. That's what I was taught and the same for most without dads by CHOICE in the "don't need no man" areas. It's no accident most the other boys would say "nobody gives a $#__ about me", except the few with dads. From them I heard, "my dad loves me", "my parents love me", I very rarely heard "my mom loves me" from other boys..

I was an outsider and used to getting bullied so I was always awkward around my peers. Girls weren't attracted to me. I remember going to a random party and I remember how a girl that didn't know me pulled me towards her, asking "what's up with you?" and then she kissed me. She was very pretty and it was a long kiss, lol. I cried with relief because of years of rejection, ridicule and the sudden approval, this meant something to me... "I'm just so fucking lonely" I told her. That's when she pushed me away and walked away, my words were an instant turn off. I didn't start actively working on my confidence after that night or going to the gym or hiding my feelings and becoming a poser etc. etc. Turn myself into someone I was not just for the sake of belonging, connection... what kind of belonging and connection and love is that? I understood this intuitively. Or perhaps it's just narcicissm wanting to be loved for who you really are, not who you pretend to be. Because that means your still alone, just not the surface. All of this rejection throughout the years and later on at university etc. etc. I just learned that most woman are cruel, like to ridicule you, like to shame you. Woman are just people. And most people suck. In either case I gave up chasing woman in my mid thirtees. I had sex with one woman over two weeks who was much older and I think being together with someone so much younger boosted her self esteem. Once she told me to invited her ex over and asked to be there, I knew she wanted to make him jealous. It was selfish, I felt used. I think most people aren't capable of love. ACTUAL selfless, giving love. Attraction is only the first stumbling block among many others. I'm not saying I'm any better. But any stray dog you find e.g. during a holiday trip and halt to comfort and give some attention, it will love you more purely than any human ever could. It wants and gives what love really is supposed to be about. Womans beauty... of cause it's in our own attraction towards beauty that makes this happen so you can't really blame them... but a womans beauty, that is just an empty promise.

Wanted to be in control, had a tenacity to manipulate, and was unwilling to settle for less than perfection with a man. We had a strong connection and a bond, but she was incapable of pair bonding due to her history and trust issues. We tried being more than friends, but she expected some instant growth in developing a closer bond and that can take time. I gave up even being her friend because you can never win with types of people (Male or female) Just constant drama and unconscious and subconscious tests. I am a lot happier being on my own. It's truly not, anymore. I really am honestly happier with just my cat and hobbies at home, and my bros when we go out. I don't need to invite all that chaos and evil into my life... Think I'm even good without a passport these days

I don't know if your old enough Erin but when I was out of high school, ugly people married ugly people. Average people married Average people. Pretty people married pretty people. We thought that was a GOOD thing! You know why? We thought there was someone for everyone. We celebrated everyone finding someone. We would say, "hey, I think I know somebody perfect for you." Most of the time, we were right. Of course this was way way before computers. We had CB's and landline phones.

Another problem is that men (especially young men, but older men to a lesser extent) tend to confuse love with admiration of beauty. Question: what purpose does admiration of beauty serve? Partly it's to lift the spirits and be inspiring, but MAINLY it's to lead the mind into procreation. So...what purpose does procreation serve? Of course to perpetuate the species, yet stopping there and saying "That's it" is FAR too hasty. Now the question is "What's the Quality of our offspring going to be?" , and "Are we/our hormones *really* defining "quality" correctly?". No. Quality has to do, 1st of all with *refusing to non-defensively hurt, harm, or demean others".* Unfortunately beauty and strength are piss poor indicators of this.

I was lucky enough to have a father whose own father was a son of a preacher, a Grand Master Mason, and an Eagle Scout Troup Leader. My father was an Eagle Scout and a valedictorian. He always taught by example when we were together and showed respect for everyone. When I was born he quit his job that required him to travel, so that he could be home with his family every night. He was divorced around the age of 45 after raising two boys. My mother got the house, the cars, the real estate, the money: everything. A year later, he was dead. Nearly twenty years ago I made a vow of celibacy for one year after having my head scrambled and my heart torn by feminist girlfriends. Been renewing that ever since. Took a little while, but now I've really learned self control, and I value and appreciate the peace in my life more than compromising my values in an effort to be in the company of a beautiful woman who will probably lead me to destroy my life.

She blew me off back then for no good reason. A dog may eat its own vomit, but I'm not a dog. I blew her off. She wasted 6 yrs of my life. There is no second chance. Women can be treacherous. Thank you for your message, for providing a rational balance to the rising of Divine Feminine. We're in the Aquarian Age, which is Female orientation. Women have to be leaders of their own happiness, and not depend upon a man to provide that, does not mean you do not need a man across the board for every and anything. Beauty, physical looks only opens the door for an individual. After that, there needs to be some personality carrying the exchange. If all she has is looks, that's not a good thing at all.

7:39 Profound statement. I've seen more women saying this, but it's too late. Since I gave up dating, women are FAR nicer to me, will smile and laugh with me, instead of dismissing me. Now, I'm a little older, have a little gray in my beard, nice truck, stable, no felonies or kids across the metroplex. They think now, it's time to either berate me, or entice me back into the dating scene. I'm still that loser, but they give us a second look, because they've also hit 40, and discovered that, in fact, they CAN do worse than a 5'8" nerd and homebody. Fact is, many of us were told we're not worth it, shown that we're not worthy, when they ran to the bad guys, with open arms. Now their sons and daughters need someone to help, but we're off trying to be blessings to our families, coworkers and friends, and even to ourselves. It's too late. At 40, I know I'll never have my own family unit, or a woman that cares about me, but I've made peace with that. It's okay. A lot of the hurt has gone away, especially as I stay busy. The overall point is, in my age group, late 30s-early 40s, I see a bunch of women saying they're looking for good men, and I've even been cursed out, for saying I'm done with dating. It's simply too late and too far gone.

“It's a very Greek idea, and a very profound one. Beauty is terror. Whatever we call beautiful, we quiver before it. And what could be more terrifying and beautiful, to souls like the Greeks or our own, than to lose control completely? To throw off the chains of being for an instant, to shatter the accident of our mortal selves? Euripides speaks of the Maenads: head thrown back, throat to the stars, "more like deer than human being." To be absolutely free! One is quite capable, of course, of working out these destructive passions in more vulgar and less efficient ways. But how glorious to release them in a single burst! To sing, to scream, to dance barefoot in the woods in the dead of night, with no more awareness of mortality than an animal! These are powerful mysteries. The bellowing of bulls. Springs of honey bubbling from the ground. If we are strong enough in our souls we can rip away the veil and look that naked, terrible beauty right in the face; let God consume us, devour us, unstring our bones. Then spit us out reborn.” -Donna Tartt, The Secret History

One should never automatically assume that a man is lonely just because he's alone. I consider my lack of friends and a partner blessings at this point in my life. My last girlfriend cheated and then exposed my friends for the phonies they are when she lied and accused me of abuse. After that hurt wore off, I came to realize that I had been liberated. I have complete freedom and zero obligation to anyone but myself now, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Giving it up at this point would be like voluntarily going to prison.

I laugh when women talk about emotional intelligence - it's an oxymoron. So many women are emotional infants these days. Intelligence is not rooted in emotions, it's rooted in logic. I challenge women to name a single advancement created for society based on emotions. There wasn't a single emotional consideration that led to the moon landing, unless you consider the grief of Apollo One. Can women contribute to these accomplishments? Of course, I'll recognize Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn, Mary Jackson, and a whole host of female contributors, but I serious doubt that there emotional intelligence was a facror. Do children react with logic or emotions?

Ah, interesting. As a young man, I was fed up with the constant fakery, when I met a girl who had been in a car crash, with minor facial injuries, I felt immediately attracted, she was special, unique, had a beautiful spirit, not like the fake majority. After volunteering to help with people who had some disadvantages, the same thing, you meet real people, normally hidden from society, some good friendships were made. Society has glimmers of hope, "The Lost Voice Guy", the comedians with Cerebral Palsy, etc. I am very suspicious of makeup, it is funny (and sad) to me when I see a girl with an orange face (white hands, as a contrast), tattoos, ill-fitting clothes, expensive trainers, piercings. Some people can wear it well, but most are trying too hard, and failing miserably.

It really made me cautious.... seeing many of my friends getting roasted in divorce, false accusations, parental alienation, etc ..... and this was back in the 90s.... its only gotten exponentially worse ever since. Im in my 50s now .... single, no kids.... and while I wont say this is what I wanted, Im sure glad I dodged the bullets. This society is going down the drain.

Thanks for your advice. Many of us are listening. For these reasons and the general moral degeneracy of our times, stopped dating four years ago. Not a one night stand guy. I am polite when interest is shown, but shut it down quickly. A lot of passion and love inside, and if I could remake the world, I would love differently. But dealing with the world as it is, not how I want it to be. Passion is redirected into fitness and solo alpinism at the level the pros do it. No one can take my experiences and accomplishments away from me, and no one but me gets me deep onto alpine glaciers and snowy peaks alone. The character, self worth, and health benefits are priceless. Screw whatever this society has going on. I’m out.

They consider themselves princesses, only earlier manners, upbringing and half a kingdom were attached to the princess. Now a man is not dating a woman, he is facing the scariest dragon in his life. It is impossible to defeat a dragon, the kingdom and society are on the side of the dragon. It's best not to meet a dragon. To bypass the dragon by another way. They got what they wanted, independence from everything. Work girls, the sun is still high. Be happy and pay your bills yourself. Do you feel lonely, just call the bear. Bears are a great option for women with their high standards and boundaries. Hundreds of lonely bears are waiting to meet women. Grizzle Grizzle. Relationships like in Blade Runner 2049 will soon become a reality.

If one is miserable, they’re always miserable until the cause of their misery is resolved. If one is lonely, they’re only lonely until they realize that loneliness is an opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth.
