We have a good family friend who’s the definition of a High Value man - makes $30M a year, owns a law firm and drives a Bentley. His wife stays home, cooks, cleans, took care of the kids (they’re grown now) does laundry & rubs his feet every night. She lives like a queen in their 8 bedroom house. She also workouts out and takes care of herself, dresses well & is very pleasant to live around. Wonder why they’re so happy after 34 years of marriage with 2 successful kids?

Whether you marry a high value man or woman, the point is we are not sure of how marriages would turn out later. Unexpected things happen all the time. A pious woman would turn out to be the worst wife or a pious husband would become the worst husband. We might demand and set the standards of a man and woman to marry but can't be sure of anything in the future. Above all things what's really matter is how compatible you are with your life partner and do you find any peace being with him or her. If all we look for are worldly or physical things , there is cent percent doubt in everything.

I don't wash the dishes unless she's out of town. We have a dishwasher, so it's not like she's drying out her hands and slaving over a steamy sink for hours. I can do laundry. I can sew. I can vacuum or sweep/mop. I did all of that as a single guy. I can cook a bit. I used to manage a restaurant. I can feed myself and others. She generally cooks indoors though. I BBQ. We have a crockpot, microwave, blender, processor, mixer, Keurig cup & carafe machine, rice cooker, teapot, etc. I maintain the yard/house/vehicles. I got a self-propelled mower this year. I also got a snowblower and a polesaw. Life is easier. We have simple Japanese cars/motos, so they're generally easy to work on. Our family boat is currently a simple, plastic sailing dinghy with an electric motor, and we don't leave it in the water, so it's pretty low-maintenance too. Our lakeside house is up on a hill and has been updated, so it's pretty easy to care for as well. She's not strong enough to take the garbage out without potentially hurting herself. I do it one-handed. She'd have to use little wastebasket bags if I wasn't around.

We have a dishwasher and I still wash dishes by hand. It drives my husband crazy. As far as taking the trash out, I can easily do that myself. I actually like building things so my husband doesn’t have issues with that. We’re not cutting the grass so we pay for that. I can definitely BBQ. My husband mostly does it because he doesn’t want anyone touching his grill even though I’m the one who bought it for him. 😂😂😂 It doesn’t matter who washes the dishes but I prefer it be me. As far as the laundry, I don’t want anyone messing up the washing machine so I do it. Plus he doesn’t like folding clothes. I fold everything a specific way because I’m extremely particular on how it gets folded. My son doesn’t live with us and I don’t even allow him to do his laundry. When my daughter visits, I do the laundry. Plus I don’t want anyone messing up my laundry room. It’s way too organized and they aren’t going to have anything facing the correct way. I’m like that with the pantry and the media room and the refrigerators. Everything has to be faced correctly and in containers. Almost everything is labeled since I have Cricut machines.

Dont care if we both work don’t care how busy you were don’t care if you are sick but just do it. Because she wldnt ask him to help if she wasn’t tired either or if she cld handle it. Fact that she is asking means something. So if she asks he shd see why she is asking before saying I am high value so do it. And if he is truly high value she shdnt need to ask him but just use his resources to pay someone else to do it.
