My elderly mother was slowly walking ahead of me from a Target store to our car parked far away from the entrance. The checkout line wait was too long for her to stand so she left ahead of me. As I was leaving the store, I saw a young guy standing in front of store watching my mom & start to follow her. I quickly got close behind him & jingled my keys just as he was a few feet behind her & he ran off like he was being shot at. I never told her she was being stalked like prey & I still regret 15 years later I didn't go back into Target to report this guy because he looked like he knew what he was doing & wasn't going stop.

On Friday I was walking with both my kids, holding their hands when I noticed someone suspiciously waiting for us to pass by. I stopped and turned the opposite way. I briefly looked behind and noticed he was walking our way. There was a crowd of people so I walked behind them and the stranger and I made eye contact. When I noticed he wasn’t stopping I literally pulled my kids close to me and crossed the street. There was a group of people walking on that side of the street so I lingered until the stranger started to cross over. At that moment I called out to a man who was about to enter a restaurant and told him that someone was following us. He told me to stay with him and he guided us into the restaurant. The stranger didn’t look all there mentally. He was whispering but was, for some reason, fixated on getting to us. The man asked him if he needed something and when he didn’t respond he questioned why he was following us and scared him away. This nice man walked my kids and I to my moms house which was just across the street. I felt so vulnerable with one kid on each hand and afraid of him trying to take one of my kids. I don’t know who the man at the restaurant is but I am so grateful for him!!

It's not that. It's that society was blaming women and continue to blame women for doing basic things that people do everyday. Had this woman with the dog been assaulted, i guarantee you there would be people that will say "well she shouldn't have gone out during the night." It's the same mentality with everything. "Well she shouldn't have worn that skirt, she shouldn't have gone out during this time, she shouldn't be alone, she shouldnt have been on her phone, she shouldnt have lived alone, she shouldn't have done this or that." It's always blaming us, but never taking accountability for MENS ACTIONS. So we can't walk during the night or during the day alone, we cant wear skirt or jeans, we cant use our phones, we cant live alone, we can't go drinking, or clubbing, we can't do things that our other people get to do because said people will attack and violate us. Arming and training woman is a great thought, but is it realistic? Will that solve issues or create issues? Take these two examples, while the mother was already suspecting of this man, she was able to turn around and scream, but could she bring herself to shoot? Especially around her child? Or would her nervousness cause an accident? As for the woman with her dog, she was on her phone, looking down. Huge disadvantage already. This attacker reportedly had a gun pointing at her. Do you think reaching for her gun would have helped her? The moment she reached for her gun, she would have been shot. Arming yourself is great and you should do it to protect your home, but a gun is not the solution to every problem.

Life in prison without the possibility of parole or lethal injection once convicted. The problem with this system that we live in isn't the bad people it's the government not will to execute who threatened others with bodily harm. The government would prefer to make money off of criminals than remove them from society permanently. There is no excuse for pulling a gun or a knife out on another individual that act should be an automatic death sentence once caught.

I'm an adopted child, and I will say it everytime, ABORTION IS BETTER THAN PUTTING YOUR CHILD THROUGH SUFFERING, THROUGH THE SYSTEM, THROUGH NEGLECT, THROUGH ABANDONMENT, ECT. Abortion is the option that prevents pain and suffering for the fetus, and gives the host a chance to get back to their life and work on it. Especially with the fact that MAJORITY of parents will end up under the poverty line. Children cost thousands more now than they used to. 99 % of women assaulted and caught on camera have ZERO situational awareness. Face buried in their phone. Noise canceling ear buds in place. The first woman was aware and deserves to be ARMED. The rest are born victims.

This is the first I’ve heard of this! Thank you! Ladies arm yourselves (gun, pepper spray, air horn, whatever you feel comfortable with. Be aware of what is around you. People, slow rolling cars or cars you see pass by more than once, someone watching you or walking towards you while talking on the phone. Stand tall, walk with a purpose, keep your hands out of your pockets unless you are holding something to protect yourself with.. Also every 20 - 30 steps look behind you so you don’t get “flanked”. Don’t yell help, yell FIRE! Most people are too afraid to come help you but they will run to see a fire and can at least help with the description and direction of travel of the suspect. They can also call 9-11 while you regain n your composure.

Revelation 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: HE THAT KILLETH WITH THE SWORD MUST BE KILLED WITH THE SWORD. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (FOR THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE ARE NOT CARNAL, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Ephesians 6:10-18 The Whole Armor of God 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Hebrews 4:12 FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS QUICK, AND POWERFUL, AND SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD, PIERCING EVEN TO THE DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOUL AND SPIRIT, AND OF THE JOINTS AND MARROW, AND IS A DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART

I'm a runner and whenever I know I'm closing on a woman walking, especially from behind, it makes me anxious. Because I already know what their reaction will be. So I make my footfalls louder so they know I'm approaching. Most of the time they don't have a clue and their body jerks as I pass them. Especially on this one popular greenway that is on both sides for the entire length, covered by thick brush and swamps. There is small wooden bridges spanning the swampy areas. I make my approach loud. Again, no situational awareness on their parts. Ear buds in or on the phone. Even when its almost dark. I always thought how dangerous that place is. And the county parks with miles of trails, miles from the nearest house. Women walking at dusk alone.
