I booked St. Olav Hotel for three nights via Agoda based on the reviews. I arrived in the afternoon. The door to the reception is locked all the time. Luckily, when we were there, someone came from inside and we used the opportunity to get into the reception. The check-in process was very smooth and fast.
My room was 122, and it was a little confusing to find because we had to go through the lobby, then the courtyard, and look for the room numbers. There was a common entrance for three rooms (121 to 123), and ours was 122. The room was spacious and came with a small fridge, a locker, and a clean bed and bathroom.
I do not remember seeing any power outlet to charge my camera and computer. Fortunately, I brought an international adapter to charge them. The room came with a complimentary breakfast buffet. The breakfast had a decent selection of items.
As usual, after settling in, I went out to explore the neighborhood. There are many museums, beautiful churches, and the Estonian Parliament within walking distance. A shopping mall with food courts, gift shops, and grocery stores is within a 20-minute walk. This mall was very convenient for buying food, snacks, and water.
Since our flight to Amsterdam was early in the morning, the front desk person arranged for a take-out breakfast. We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. If I come back to Tallinn, I would stay here again and recommend fellow travelers check this place out.
Here, I am sharing pictures of the hotel room, lobby, and the neighborhood.
