In this video I go over the basics of framing and the terminology used so that you can more effectively read residential construction drawings. I also compare and contrast some terminology that is typically used on site while other that is more technically correct as it is what the building code uses. I also reference the CMHC Wood Frame Construction book which can be downloaded free from the site with the link below. How cool is that (hopefully the link keeps working)!
