wow..yes I was blown away with this project. I love all the brass work. You are very good with this clock making. Question what about the grain on the gears? There are places where gears may break. How do you strengthen those? And how many of these you have made and what was the hardest part to make? Yes there are more questions, but not enough time and space.

Hace tiempo hice un reloj muy parecido, me quedé en el paso de montar la cuerda, para Q todo el mecanismo empezará a funcionar. En el video no se ve el paso de dicho montaje,..

Very nice looking clock. I really like the way a solid wood clock looks. It is so much nicer than plywood, but do you find that the gears change shape with humidity changes?

:). Yes you are right. After 2 weeks of raining my gears went out of concentricity and the clock in this video doesn't work anymore. I worked at a solution to work around this issue and i found one... with solid wood and epoxy resin. But i like that you found the biggest problem i had with this clock, that took me so much time to solve. I will post a video with this new clock in a month. Good luck!

I have built the clock in 3d software. I can extract plans in dxf/dwg format, but it's a little bit of work for it!

Wow. What a beautifull clock you've made ! I know it stopped working, I don't know if you managed to fix the moisture issue, but I wanted to ask about the perfomances of this clock when it was in function. How long did you manage to make it run for ? And how accurate did it happen to be ?

Am renunțat la varianta cu lemn stratificat. Am încercat, este ok, lemnul se pastreaza în timp fără sa își modifice dimensiunile.... Dar am vrut sa folosesc lemn plin.... Am postat acum ultima varianta. Proiectul e facut de mine în solidworks plecând de la Simplicity - Boyer

Am urmărit noul video, este o capodopera de măiestrie, Dl. Boyer ar fi invidios. Poate o sa reușesc și eu să fac un mecanism de genul asta vreodată. Deocamdată învăț. Mulțumesc pentru că ne încânți cu astfel de videoclipuri. Cu bine!

Salut, felicitări pt proiect este superb, am si eu vreo cateva planuri pt niște ceasuri de perete culese de pe net format pdf însă al tău e cel puțin un nivel peste. Vroiam sa te intreb totuși câte ore ți-a luat prelucrarea lor strict pe cnc și dacă poți/vrei să îmi dai si mie planurile (ori ce format le ai tu, eu lucrez cu suita delcam....powershape si powermill), Am de gând să fac componentele funcționale gen roțile dințate din placa de aluminiu (6061) si componentele ornamentale din esența de fag sau stejar cu inserție de alamă cum ai facut tu, in acest mod evit problemele cu factorul de umiditate ce afectează componentele funcționale si îmi asigură si o precizie mai bună precum si o fiabilitate îndelungată a ceasului.

Prelucrarea pieselor la CNC ia cel mai puțin timp.... 4-5 ore.... tinand cont ca prelucreaza lemn și poți merge cu 1200 mm/min la o turație de 7000 a frezei (de 2mm). Pierzi mult mai mult timp la șlefuire, vopsire, prelucrarea axelor la strung... etc. Cel mai mult a durat proiectul... aprox 5 luni, folosind timpul liber ca lucrez în cu totul alt domeniu! Este un hobby, îl fac din plăcere, asa ca te ajut cu placere pentru orice! :)
