Seems like your biggest challenge now is to make it as small as possible. After seeing your other machines, I'm betting you will get it figured out. This looks like a great way to use an old motor. I have several laying around - and I see them at auctions all the time for $5 - $10. Anyone can pick up a old motor pretty cheap! Thanks for sharing your process!

Thanks. Ya these old motors are a dime a dozen. I know I sure wish I thought of this years ago. I got a few things I plan on sharing using these speed reducers not just the router feeder. im going to keep it simple and inexpensive and original. Hopefully I'm not boring you guys with these update vids.

I'm making a mini version of that for a auto jigger for ice fishing. Hope it works I'm using a motor out of an old cordless drill.

Didn't think of these being hard to get it other places but it makes sense cause these are old furnace blower motors so if its not cold where you live ....hopefully you can find one to play with

I need to make a gearbox like this, I was thinking of cutting teeth on the wheels but your way with belts looks easier but does the torque increase or decrease?
