You made a lovely job of that handle Cip, the cheap bottle opener/cork screw you bought has proved a very useful buy :) Great video. Take care Mike

@@CipsWoodChips Hi! Enjoyed your video. I searched it out because I am making corkscrews. I’m wondering if you have any tips on how to anchor the worm into the wood. Is epoxy the answer? How much? How long to dry??

@@janetwojtalik4324 Howdy Janet! Epoxy works fine for me. The metal screw part must be large or flat or odd shaped so it resists turning. A thin straight shaft will turn loose very easily. Good luck, cheers.

@@CipsWoodChips Thanks for replying. Unfortunately I found online narrow worms with a threaded end. My first attempt was using gorilla glue and a counter sunk locking nut. It backed right out when I tried to get the cork off the worm. Now I bought epoxy. Hopefully this glue will work.

Greeting Pascal, epoxy varies to some extent. I have not had a problem. Your results may vary due to wood, boring, climate, etc. You may need to try and see what works for you. Kind Regards.
