I have been told they look horrible when scared on purpose, the snarling, hissing and drooling is supposed to make them look sick so predators think twice before attacking this apperant sick and rabid animal. All the while being really good at keeping pesky vermin and other pests like roaches and ticks undercontrol.

I love managed randomness, channeled accidents. Where I discover an outcome as much as plan it. That's what had me laughing: Stumbled across some cedar balls; "Got to do something with these. . . . So I bought a whole lot more," etc. Understood your reactions and reasoning every step. Lovely result. (We'll always see the flaws no one else looks for.) The racoon was less shy. Love the possum. Good to see an animal chew something long enough to taste it. Cheers.

1: these opossums are very very cute 2: you might want to make sure they are eating food that is more healthy, I know it just melts the heart to give them treats like these, and you dont nescessarily need to stop, but they will live longer and happier with a healthy diet behind those marshmallows.
