Most of the wood I turn is from downed trees I find in the free section of Craig's List. A few weeks back, I picked up a few logs from a pecan tree that had been felled about a year ago. The wood had been sitting out on the side of his house and developed some great spalting. In total I roughed out 10-12 bowls, a lidded box, and sealed a few spinal blanks. As these pieces dry, I'll have a few pieces to finish turn in 8-10 months once dry.
Thank you for watching.
