In this video I rough in a driftwood pine burl that has a lot of small stones embedded in the surface. I use a worn out Easywood Tools carbide to see if I can salvage something worthy of casting in resin down the road. This was a very oddly shaped burl that had a lot of rot on one end. I did this in Realtime and stopped frequently to show the progress and what I look for in a piece to cast. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND TRYING TO TURN STONE WITH CARBIDE. The stones in this burl were very small and only embedded in the surface.
