Never having worked on the buses this was an eye-opener. I assumed you signed in and drove away. What a palace as a canteen! A garage was to store and repair buses and no more. It was nice to see your face to go with the voice. Really enjoyable.

In my 39 years of various tfl companies included in my time, I think Ponders End was my favourite because parking my car for work in the streets and the canteen in the garage were big bonuses.

I hope the ordinary passengers that watch your videos see the difference and more relaxed it is when things run on time, if people were more time conscious we’d all be able to get to our destinations on time or reasonably 🤣

Thanks Peter. Very informative as ever and we got a chance to see what you look like. Can I ask…the warning lights that lit up due to the tyre pressure had me thinking, each bus on any given day maybe made by different manufacturer. Will it not be the case that you’ll need knowledge on how that bus works, for example, what a warning light might mean? etc Plus…how can you not eat the yolk? It’s the best bit.
@BristolRE
3 жыл бұрын
Lol, hate yolk. Warning lights are pretty standard, images not words, so they can be used on buses exported / imported and have a standard meaning.

What happens about lost property on the bus ,is there a lost property office ,do people claim items ? if they dont can you keep them after a certain time has passed?
@BristolRE
2 жыл бұрын
You hand all lost property in at the garage the route comes from, they hold on to a while, then it gets sent to the TfL lost property office. Except food, as food will go bad, so you either keep that or it gets binned
