Gabriel Hintenaus talks about how he went into concept art a little confused as to what the job actually entailed. How he found a mentor in Johannes Mücke during his internship at Wideshot Entertainment, who showed him the ropes and shared a similar artistic world view. Then his transition to the Danish Visual Development Studio MOOD and what work as a Junior Concept artist has been like. He has worked on a range of International entertainment projects, ranging from games to films and Netflix shows in a range of disciplines: character design, environment design, illustration, production painting, and storyboarding. His work portfolio is mostly made up of realistic 2D art but his Instagram shows off his personal work, which is primarily paintings in oils, gouache or watercolor.
