Just wondering could you tell me where to start when learning Chinese. From what I've heard it's best to start by learning Pinyin and learn to pronounce Chinese words. Then move on to grammar and how to make conversation and finally learning off character. Would this be the right way to go about learning Chinese?
@ChristlerTy
5 жыл бұрын
@@darraghmonaghan8864 Hi Darragh! Great question. Thank you for it. I agree with what you've hear about learning Pinyin and the phonetics first. That's correct. And I also agree with the characters later on. It's all about priorities. For me, it was by far more important to be able to understand people speaking and being about to speak back than to be able to read. I also made this short video here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/pXuFs6CkfHWDi34

Hey Tyler. I have a question: After seeing debates being sparked online after a controversy in 2019 where jack ma and other well known ceo's were touting the 996 work schedule as some sort of necessity and jack ma even called it a "blessing". I plan on studying an electrical engineering degree in china in chinese after spending a year learning chinese so that I can work in china with chinese companies afterwards. But after looking at Global Times and CGTN, the news websites that are affiliated with the chinese government, there was a poll in there where only 20 percent said that they don't work overtime. and the rest said they do, mostly because they have to, even though on paper 996 schedule is illegal. Would it be hard to find a job like that that doesn't have a 996 schedule? Is it true that most people are working a lot more than 40 hours a week 8 hours a day? According to your experience is this common?

If you have a Chinese degree and speak Chinese. You will easy to get job from a large Chinese job offer in your home country. Working hour will follow by your country law. If you want to work in China after graduate in China. 996 maybe happen, specially in a big company in big cities, like Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen
