I've always wondered what it felt like to be able to run long distance. I'm imagining it's a pretty great feeling.

it hurts like hell. and if you run alone it sucks. but its really great!!!! i love it. but the thought of it and how long you have left is always in your head when you run, and just the thought of maybe you should stop haha its a lot about mental thoughts.. but its fantastic being able to run long distance

Hello , very well workout. The girls run fantastic good. They keep an amazing running technique and tempo in the repetitions. The 1200m in track help to find rhythm and control in the pace. I am ultra runner, but sometime I'm still to use this repetitions to keep the speed on. Because to be an ultra runner don't mean to be slowly. And I like to be fast, off course not in the same way that's girls in the video. Thank you for a good video. We are runners and we know that's a good video. Well done!!!!👍

Not to be negative but it amazes me how almost all elite and let alone professional athletes have bad arm work (and the upper body posture).. Still faster than most people with the perfect technique too so eh, these girls are unbelieveable...
@jelena8960

@LeeroyJenkins Oh so I can not notice/state facts if I am not perfect? Very realistic mate :) I emphasised that I didn't mean to be negative, they have poor arm technique whether I say it or not, it doesn't change that fact and I simply wanted to mention it as a topic I find interesting running world - wise. If you don't want to talk about it, leave :D

Didn't see any long running, hill running, that's where a lot of coaches still get it wrong, speed is inherent, it's not how fast you can run but how long you can run the same speed longer.

Speed isn't only inherent if you work on your twitch muscles and etc you can get faster speed. If speed was inherent I wouldn't have improved my 800 time by atleast 25 seconds (8th grade to 9th).

I’m going to ignore the ridiculousness of the comment itself and inform you that menstruation is thought to increase pain threshold during sports, and some Olympic athletes have actually performed better on their period. All hail menstruation!

I'm amazed at how long Ray has been at Providence, about 30 years now I imagine, student and coach. But when you hear him talk you would swear he got off the boat from Ireland yesterday! I've watched Providence's program ever since Emily Sisson arrived on scene. The thing that stands out to me is these girls put their complete trust in this man and it pays off over and over again.
