The main reasons why a centrifugal pump may be providing low water pressure and therefore not being able to fill the tank it serves are these:
.- Pichancha with the valve stuck in the "closed" position
.- Poorly glued or poorly welded connection pipe, which causes air to enter and there is no good water suction
3. Fractured impeller cover or volute with consequent air ingress
.- Impeller clogged by garbage or algae
.- Leaking water seal, which means that when the water leaks, air also enters and, having air, the impeller will not work with the necessary pressure.
.- Rusty bearings, which makes it difficult for the rotor to turn, drastically reducing RPM and giving less water pressure.
.- Bearings falling apart or with a lot of play inside their housings in the covers due to flaring, with that the rotor ends up dragging against the field and when rubbing metal against metal friction and heating of the motor is produced in addition to lowering the RPM or flat stick by the force of magnetism and not rotate
.- Permanent starting capacitor in poor condition, with this the engine will work at medium speed and will not be able to raise the water due to lack of pressure
.- Oxidized electrical connections or with false contact, with this there will be a voltage drop and little performance in the motor
.- Pump placed very far from the tank to be supplied
