I laughed at what you called crusher run. The crusher run sold her is very fine. It is literally the powder left in the crusher after rest is crushed. Packs very easily and hardens into almost concrete. We use it mainly for gravel or dirt driveways to fill the mud holes. Packs tight and won't wash out

The crazy bit was how the wall wobbled as you drove the dump truck into the workshop. oh, and it looks like you are going to have to add a foot or more to the wall height after having to put in all that fill.

Go ladies. Well done. All the work accomplished is making the workshed look great, inside and out. Good to have decent equipment. Imagine cleaning and moving stone by hand. Ugh. Best wishes.

That pointing looks brilliant. I think a Lazer level will serve you very well ! It doesn’t have to be an expensive one but it will help in so many aspects of your build.

While majestic, will you keep the two large trees at the end of the workshop?

What's the plan with the tree right by the entrance to the workshop? If it's not a problem already, then it definitely will be one in the future

Are there any comments you can make about the various bits of equipment that you are using, or have used, that might be a help to others who might consider doing something similar? ie size of digger, drills used, mixer, etc.

What kind of material is used in the stone pointing? Looks like a long job.

It’s an NHL lime pointing mix. It’s quite a strong ratio of 2-1 sand to lime as the wall needs all the help it can get
