I teach tapestry weaving, natural dyeing, indigo and shibori to name a few techniques. All the techniques I teach in person are ones that I employ in my artistic practice.
I studied textile art in a two-year technical diploma at Capilano University and then finished my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Montreal at Concordia University's Material Practices program.
In 2011 I designed and taught a six-week textile program for the Ulukhaktok Handicraft Project in Ulukhaktok Northwest Territories which included hand knitting, machine knitting and four-shaft weaving. There are a few photos from that project in this video.
I'm currently working primarily in tapestry weaving and natural dyeing, and as a freelance instructor teaching textile techniques all over North America (and beyond, if you so desire)
