This is easily the best explanation of workspaces and how to manipulate them to your liking. I wish I had this sooner!! THANK YOU!

Still the best Premiere Pro teacher on KZitem. Creative formats. Clean and clear instructions. All very functional and practical and well thought-out.

Any idea how to change the shortcuts for the workspaces? The 1 to 9 Premier suggests are not really in the order I like and the reorder option doesnt apply to the shortcuts

Excellent information again. Quick Question, the studio space behind you looks great, I've seen a lot of creators using AI to expand the space behind them. I can't tell. Also I am always shifting my workspace about. Two monitors has made life easier

👋 Hello again Michael! No that’s my actual space behind me, but what people have been doing with the AI expansion is pretty impressive.

@@JavierMercedes I like the lighting in the room, wouldn't mind seeing a video on your lighting setup because you are lit very clearly without that light spilling onto the background

Long time lurker here! I absolutely have loved your videos, teaching style and it’s the reason I’m still using Premiere Pro to this day because I’m always learning something new from your channel on either how to improve my processes or things I didn’t know Premiere could do! Thanks for all your hard work!

Great video Javier! I always have issues with this feature. I save my workspaces exactly how I want them and every time I open premiere it reverts back to the project window to bottom left. It's super annoying. This happens with both editing rigs (Mac Studio/Custom PC) and I tried making new workspaces, deleting old versions, etc. Any ideas what would cause this?
@JavierMercedes

Hmmm I haven’t seen this before per say, but sometimes the project window becomes a free standing window for me when I reset my layout, for some reason it goes back to where I want it too when I actually go to the window menu and click “reset saved layout”. Project window seems to be an elusive ☝️ when it comes to saved layouts I guess 🤷♂️.

What’s funny is I like it more, but I’m just so used to the old way that sometimes it’s less efficient for me to use open in place because it doesn’t do what I expect it too ha! 😄

A bit unrelated, but do you know if shortcuts can be programmed for effects? ie, key stroke to apply warp stabilizer to a clip?
