The World Alzheimer Report 2022 centres on post-diagnosis support, segueing from last year’s report on diagnosis. Levels and quality of post-diagnosis support vary widely across the world, and the evident gaps in provision are leaving many people living with dementia, their carers and family members, without much needed support and services.
During this 75-minute launch event for the report, the co-lead authors and panel of expert speakers highlighted the report’s key findings and recommendations, and asked how the post-diagnosis experience worldwide can be radically improved.
