I wish we had gotten to see more of Mr. Ernst's class, I did his virtual class during the pandemic and still do them occasionally, his classes are fantastic. But I LOVED getting a peak into the costume department. I'd love to see more of that next year.

Adored this video - my daughter and I were fortunate enough to attend the opening night of Giselle - it was sublime, exquisite and emotional, with a 15 minute standing ovation at the conclusion - highlight of my trip to Amsterdam Diana Bonisch, Invercargill, New Zealand

I know these talented young people are always under pressure, but what a happy company this seems to be - beautiful dancers (m and f) from all over the world. As for the rehearsal of Jacopo Lissi and Olga Smirnova under Rachel Beaujean, I will be able to see and understand so much more when I see this production streamed. PS. Thank you very much for this nice video. How touching to see Olga Smirnova being happy that Jacopo Tissi joined the company. In my opinion Olga is absolutely breathtaking, a great artist and incredibly beautiful. Rachel Beaujean leads the Giselle rehearsal very confidently and sensitively. I also thought the interview with her after the rehearsal was very pleasant and intelligent. And what a lively and open attitude of Emma Mardigan showing what is inside her bag. And last but not least the pianist plays absolutely wonderful! A great company. Keep up the high level.

Why did they not show more class this year? Felt very edited and Ernst is such a joy to watch alongside all of the wonderful dancers. Previous years we got to see more of barre and centre work!

I will be forever grateful for all the classes he posted during covid and really introduced me to this amazing company b/c that. I do agree that the class seemed too edited for me and would have preferred more class (and maybe less of the backstage scenes if time is an issue). And maybe just drop the "what's in my bag" segments ;)

The last year's ballet class by DNB was so great so came here expecting the same but the class was way too edited and cut short. Please remember that many ballet lovers come to enjoy WBD videos to have a peek into the world's renowned ballet corp's daily class as many of us stand a slim chance to do.

Заглянула в Dutch Ballet посмотреть на Ольгу Смирнову. Рада, что она в хорошей компании: с Тисси и концертмейстером Ольгой Хозяиновой. Жизель у Ольги сделана давно и замечательно - трудно что-то добавить, только наслаждаться её танцем. Балерина обжилась в труппе, чувствует себя уверенней, намного естественней звучит её английский. Грустно, что балерина вдохновляется видео с Тик-Тока и Инстаграмм, как танцуют другие, - в России можно просто прийти на спектакль и восхититься своими коллегами. Желаю Ольге счастья!

Трогательная презумпция, что Ольга Смирнова мониторит именно русских балерин :) И про прийти на спектакль: только что вWorld Ballet Day Большой показывал репетицию того же самого Па де де (в другой редакции, да) с Лизой Кокоревой. Уверяю Вас, пока что Смирновой вдохновлятся нечем.
