It's heart lifting to hear you play Peters songs just as he would. Please keep coming. From a lifelong fan of Peter Green, you have that special touch and sound he recorded. John

Tx John obviously I'm a big fan and it's a challenge to do this but I reckon it's worth it. This type of playing is rare indeed. Gary

fieldfullofthistles Yes definitely worth it Gary, even the great Eric Clapton is on record saying he envied Peter's interpretation and playing of the blues. I'm lucky to have seen Peter live in both Fleetwood Mac and with John Mayall, and you interpret Peter Green's guitar feel and vocal's very well.

@tony7043 Many thanks Tony, I bought the acoustic from a supermarket seconds shop about 15 years ago. Way less than half price! Its a Washburn acoustic with a cut out and an LR Baggs pick up. I just used the same mic as the vocal at the same time though - sounded ok!

@arfurlife Its an SE 2200a Condenser mic. into my saffire pro 40 - then into cubase. I added reverb and a TRacks 3 deluxe compressor. I just select a preset and use whichever sounds good. I read all sorts of stuff about mic placement and so on but I just place it somewhere where it picks up ok (enough input gain). Its quite a noisy room too the computer makes a racket and its all wooden floors. I just wing it like everyone else but cubase, the sapphire and Tracks helps. Cheers!

@jjmc60 Sound thanks! I have a good mic pre amp in my Saffire Pro 40 and I use an SE 2200a condenser mic to pick up the guitar and vocals at the same time. Seems to work ok. Cheers for now, Gary
