Seriously. Ece 2206 helmets starts at 5k and you will get a very good helmet for 8 (2206). The kyt helmet costs 18k and weighs 1700 grams. LS2 storm 2 retails for under 9.5k , korda shockwave 7.5k and MT thunder 4 for 12k and if we look at cheaper options : MT hummer B for 4.5k 😀😀. All are ECE 2206 certified. Jackets here mentioned have negligible abrasion resistance because of the amount of mesh and materials used . Royal Enfield Carapace Jeans got no Kevlar lining. Shoes mentioned has no ECE rating for neither safety shoes or motor cycle riding shoes , so as the gloves. A 15 mins reading on team bhp or a visit to a decent riding gear store would have informed you guys about these basic infos. At least watch some youtube videos where KNOWLEDGEABLE people discuss these riding gears. You guys should feel ashamed about making such low quality contents. In 30k , riders can buy much better and more safer riding gears.

Laced riding boots are not recommended as they can get loose and eventually get tangled with gear and or, brake levers.

New to motorcycles. Just bought one of RE’s 650. Have all those things except pants. I bought rynox knee guards instead hopefully they’ll do for now. Will add pants later

Quite noisy though. I got the Thunder 4 which has ECE R22.06 rating and is quite comfortable too. But the wind noise is frustrating.

I'll recommend Clan shoes boots as they are more casual and CE certified as well

Nice one Jehan! Happy World Motorcycle Day! Can you clear a point? How do you think the Gadsyll G-Star 7 compares to the Viaterra Bronson? I have a RE Cabo made in collaboration with TCX for my daily commute, and am looking for another pair of short boots to alternate with. I quite like the look of the Gadsyll, but not sure if the safety is on par with the Viaterra.

@@the_winged_helm avoid boots with laces for riding. in this case gadsyll has a velcro strip on top inside which you can tuckin the lace loop so that it may not snag on the motorcycle. now that i am looking at this shoe i think i will buy this one also.

@@kcnanand Fair point. My primary concern is the construction quality and material used. A velcro strip is a good feature to have to tuck the shoestrings neatly, but that can be managed by using proper length strings that do not dangle anywhere close to the shifter. Case in point, I also have a pair of TVS Racing ankle length boots. The construction is fine for the price and it has zipper and velcro, so no dangling strings. The material used however is PU, which will fare poorly against abrasion in case of a slide compared to full grain leather. So I am a little less confident while wearing those.
