You're one of about 3 people on YT that actually post engaging sculpture/scale/statue painting, so I can't believe goobers ditch at 4 minutes. I'd love a 45s section talking about supporting particular files, issues to look out for, resin used, prep work, etc. in each video.

The skin tone really suited the model theme giving it another worldly look not human. Also like the way you did the flames using a clear resin then the inks am defo trying that on my next print with flames very realistic keep up the good work my dad

Because it's a bit hard to tell, (not that it's your fault I'm assuming it's difficult to film and paint at the same time) but with each progressive flesh tone were you spraying just a little higher with each tone? It looks fantastic love your style of painting

Great video. Please tell a beginner modeler what pressure is optimal for painting a model with an airbrush? The paint in my nozzle dries very quickly, I think it's not just because I put too much pressure on the trigger.

How much time do you spend cleaning up the 3d print before you start priming? I noticed alot of supports.
@Groundeffected
Жыл бұрын
This one was made on a very short time scale. So I don’t spend too much time on cleanup. But if it’s a commission I could spend a whole day cleaning stuff. Depends on the purpose I guess but mostly there isn’t too much work to do before I prime

I just tought about something my dude.. I see you shake your paints manually and was wondering if you have a Vortex mixer. If not you should :D Its perfect and will shake your bottles/paint within 10 seconds. Even old paints that are stubborn to let go of the bottom :) It also saves you from fap-arm at the same time 😂 Personally i have the "Mini Vortex mixer" by 'Four Es's Scientific'. Its a bit pricey but oooh its so woderfull. If you do have a vortex mixer thingy mejig consider this message not sent 🥰

@@NoMercyFtwyea I can or. I can do it this way and not waste a bunch of clear resin by turning it into a colour that I don’t need for the next print. Then I’ll have bottles of mixed up colours never the right amount to print, trust me dude. I make at least one statue every single week this is the most cost effective. Not only that it allows me to control the colours from beginning to end.
@PrzybyszzMatplanety

It's superb work, however what doesn't stick at all is this fire on the base and in her hands. Colors should be reversed as fire is hotter (and brighter) near the source and it goes darker on the edges where it cools. That's the one thing that ruins it for me, however Alexstrasza herself is nearly perfect.
