Where's the world going? Won't somebody tell me? Are these thoughts illusion? Are we all one? って「この世界は向かうべき舵が取れずに何処へ向かっているのか分からずままで、これでも我々は一つになっているといえるのか」という意味が見えてちょっと鳥肌たった。

cott damn... the dance moves technically aren't difficult. And that's what makes this so amazing. The creativity of the choreography is sooo creative. And the precision is so tight, it's literally like watching art move. The beginning of the tutting routine I was iffy on, but as it progressed it kept getting better and better (the tut into the riffle part was so sick) to the point I had to rewatch the end multiple times to see how they managed that last piece of choreo. Any dancer will tell you, MJ's dance moves weren't highly difficult to do. It was his precision and practicing those moves over and over again to make it look perfect (his spins, shuffles, and glides) is what makes his dance look so special and amazing. This is the same concept
@Danae78

Yep, precision definitely. Although I'd add that transition and a smooth follow through matter to sell the whole thing.

Just curious, has anyone read the lyrics yet? It's actually so fking deep and filled with weltschmerz.... Translated lyrics: In the morning of machine civilization, lost shadows, behind their red shields, wrapped in their grey uniforms, are imprisoned in the mechanical rhythms. It's always the same scene everyday, where production lines march on nonstop. However, something is missing in the twilight of machinery. Where's the world going? Won't somebody tell me? Are these thoughts illusion? Are we all one? Will this world be able to change? Are these thoughts illusion? People find work to be done. Humans work, birds sing, and then they fall into a deep slumber. "Open your eyes!" He shouts. It's always the same scene everyday, and we live in this brief moment. Someday we'd surely want a revolution in the twilight of machinery. Where's the world going? Won't somebody tell me? Are these thoughts illusion? Are we all one? Will we be able to change these thoughts? We will always smile to our dreams. (Are these thoughts illusion?) Where's the world going? Won't somebody tell me? Are these thoughts illusion? Are we all one? Will we be able to change these thoughts? We will always smile to our dreams. break through //birth paradigm //childhood in your mind revolution //puberty desire //youth: feelings,interests of youth that soon get lost.. science ascension thirteen //start of middle school white shirt // shirts refering to a monotone schoollife white shirt white shirt black shirt black shirt singularity //graduation we are all one //life in a single united monotone machinery world are we all one //he starts questionning this world...

+Efreeti I know exactly what you mean. Well, maybe. It speaks to me on a massively, massively profound level as well. Probably not in the same way it speaks to you, no doubt that's personal to you. But there's something about this and World Order's other stuff that moves me more than just about anything. It's partially encapsulated in that bit at the beginning where the lady nods in acknowledgment as they pause. Just a normal, mundane moment of politeness and civility, but universal and human.

Genki Sudo was always showing a big sheet with with the flags of all countries in it after every win. We also can't forget his dancing intros and of course his fighting skills. That said, I'm not surprised about the lyrics of the song and the choreography. Big respect to Genki, a genuine human being.

Having been to Japan and learned a lot about Japan, there's a line that really emphasizes Japan's lifestyle"...are imprisoned in the mechanical rhythms. It's always the same scene everyday, where production lines march on nonstop." In Japan, you can literally live the exact same schedule every single day for a year. Wake up in the morning, get on the train that is NEVER late, get something from the convenience store (they'll never sell out), attend to your duties and finish your day the exact same way every day.

+Jacob Mault I can't speak for other countries, but in the US and China, the unexpected happens quite often. You'll see delays, you'll see a lot of random occurrences when you're going to and from places, and generally, you'll see something new happen every day. Maybe your favorite coffee will run out of a specific menu item, maybe the bus is never on time, or maybe a store closes early for some random reason. What I mean is that in Japan, everything about society is so perfect that basically nothing will ever go wrong. There's a saying, "things will never as happen as you plan" or something like that. Yeah, no. Things do happen as you expect them to in Japan. I planned 2 weeks of vacation in Japan and everything went as expected :)

Absolutely TIMELESS. He's a genius and they're all legends.
My interpretation of their dance movements: 0:11 Parents raising their kids for the world. 0:32 Slowly navigating through life (with a couple successes and failures on the way). 0:47 Waking up in the mechanical civilization. 0:52 Companies picking up or failing (picking up nothing). 0:57 Humans imprison humans in the rhythm. 1:19 World, moving. 1:27 Technology moving with the world. 1:32 Everybody just "rides the wave" through life (path of least resistance) 1:48 "A long ride" (representing history) 2:03 People doing mundane work 2:10 Trying hopelessly to escape it, but nobody wants to help. 2:16 People are just as much on the leash as dogs 2:25 Showing up to work. 2:32 Company managing people. 3:03 Hierarchy (some work (bow) more, some less) 3:16 The result is a mechanical civilization. 3:30 Where everyone prays for a revolution 3:46 Society: It's a complex system. 4:15 Built through generations upon generations. 4:46 And as the time goes by, the human kind becomes ever more mechanized. 5:32 It's a wake up call.
