Hey Danny, you're spreading misinformation by saying "...we supposedly came from apes; ...we evolved from apes." That's a no-no! Current understanding is that we share a common ancestor, most likely a small tree shrew-like mammal. Check out the phylogenetic tree of life. Also, a comparison of genomes shows that our closest living relative species are chimps and bonobos. Andrew is talking about Alex, the African Grey Parrot. Dr. Irene Pepperberg did years of scientific studies with him. He's not the only African Grey that can learn and communicate knowledge, he's probably just the most well-known. Dogs that use push buttons to talk are becoming more prominent too. It just depends on how many people will take the time to train dogs how to use them. Thanks for all you do!!! 👍👍

He starts by saying that diseases are the greatest danger he has encountered. I’ve done extended periods in the wilderness solo and it’s tru for me too. Encounters with wild animals like hogs or bears pose an immediate threat, but diseases such as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever can be more insidious, weakening you before you fully realize what’s happening. I’ve found myself knocking on death’s door because of gaps in my own knowledge and preparation. I salute those who possess the genuine essence of resilience and survival.

@@DensityMatrix1 I don’t doubt it for a second- swamps are some of the least hospitable places to be. I live in Southern Appalachia and I’ve seen wounds turn septic fast. Especially from ticks - which wasn’t a problem when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s. I think of the case of the young woman who contracted the flesh eating bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila while zip lining along the Little Tallapoosa River near Carrollton, Georgia. She lost both hands, a foot, and a leg - but she beat the odds and lived.

@@flatsixx I live in Northern Appalachia, but grew up in the South. Ticks are no joke everywhere. They make going outside so much less fun. We used to get a tick and then just pull it off. Now I immediately take antibiotics for a day

@@DensityMatrix1 They’re no joke. I’ve had bites turn black and look like I put a cigar out on my thigh. I’ve tested positive for the RMSV and Lyme’s antibodies. Plus I’ve been treated for Ehrlichiosis. I look at doxycycline like a condiment- just sprinkle it on my cereal in the morning. It’s crazy how tick borne diseases have boomed in the past 30 years. Some say Lyme’s came from the Plum Island lab, and I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if it’s true.

Very similar for me but I’ll put them in order: 1. Randall Carlson (Kosmographia) for knowledge you never knew existed. 2. Lex Friedman for the deepest chats out there 3. JRE and Danny Jones for the pure variety and guest quality 4. UnchartedX for the boots on the ground research and next-level presentation 5. WhyFiles for stoned conspiracy content. Shawn Ryan is down here somewhere cause I’m a new fan and he should vet his guests better. If you’re into UFOs then go with Richard Dolan, he’s the unchartedX of serious UFO history and I’d put him at 4.5 in this list.
