Unless you are a daughter, then you get aborted :/ Unless you grew up under a one-child-policy and because of these "family values", you are not only expected to take care of your parents but commonly your grandparents as well WITH NO SUPPORT FROM SIBLINGS (because you don't have any) creating unrealistic expectations and pressures. Asian culture is not all rainbows and butterflies (Source: I'm Asian).

its a pretty common practice in Chinese households. Kids start learning life skills and home chores as soon as they can follow simple instructions and hold things with relative confidence. They play, but they also learn early how to take care of themselves. @pippadawg7037 The fact remains that this is what we r capable of at this age as a species. But here in America, we baby out children so much for so long that most remain usless/skilles lumps well into their teens. It's harsh, but it's the truth. Im not saying we should induce child labor or anything of the sort. But as a hole perhaps we should be giving our children more responsibility and things at a earlier age. It would benifit everyone in the end.

No his Grandad probably taught him. All past life incidents have an alternative explanation that imo fits better. Either simple like this (being taught, natural talent), or another person in the spirit dimensional space is trying to reincarnate, and so attaches emotionally to the child in womb, expecting to live again (as that person believes can happen). Why I think this fits better: (1) ordinary theory of reincarnation would be horrific. It would mean we all learn so much in life, only to totally forget it and start again & again for infinite time. That would be meaningless and a stupid design. Nature does not tend to have extremely stupid design, but rather very clever designs. (2) esoteric methods to allegedly recover past life memories are not natural things. (3) Cultures with belief in reincarnation tend to have the records of it, far more - indicating that more people are trying to get back to earth after they die. (4) reincarnation being true also would mean a spirit or soul world (or both) exists (since it would occur in the physical dimensional space). So spirit person attachment is not so different in this regard, and it is how you would expect people who believe in reincarnation to behave after physical death. More info on this explanation if you search "divine truth reincarnation" on KZitem.

@Kalani_Saiko

Hold your horses, most kids do that sometimes, especially at that age. A short video like this doesn't show every aspect of his life. Most kids do care about others, just not necessarily strangers like you. Plus, I'm sure if most parents actually took the time to teach their kids such skills, they could do this, too. This kid clearly had supervision and support while doing this. Many kids don't have that.

His elderly grandparents and parents will be looked after...such a sweet child and lovingly given to the elder first, he gets his next...

i like how he is enjoying the moment having a chewing gum like elders and doing it passionately. This is so wow. We should inculcate this in our children those life saving skills and to be independent . Bravo to the elders

Yes... generations back "our" life was like this. On a personal note: I am now 65, and I remember SO much as child , a pre-teen, a teenager, and even as a young adult WANTING my parents to teach me things they knew, things they did on a regular basis-anything! I was starved for attention and filled with a constant desire to learn anything but got nothing. They didn't want to be bothered. I was a willing and teachable student without a teacher. Such a waste 😞

@@kenyapressley6706 oh please! He's a 3 year old that did what he was told. You can't take away the fact that he made this sandwich all by himself when most American kids can't cook an egg at 10 years old.
