I remember the contest strongest man in world..where men with enormous necks and muscles, eat a 50,000 calorie meal then toss iron, pull a truck etc..audience clap their hands in amazement how powerful these men are...now compare this guy..slim to the bones, weighs 60 kg, eats little rice, carry 80 kilos on a razor blade volcano rock slopes , with burning sulfur, breathes toxic gas, and walk for 2 hours..does this the whole day, and does it everyday for decades.........now..think about it...who really is the strongest man in the world?

@@JuliusCaesar888 no, he is lifting 80 kg, meanwhile, pulling a truck doesn't require you to lift it. People who accuse others of having low IQ usually are the ones who are not so smart, as Einstein said about IQ test "as long as we keep grading a fish by his ability to climb trees, the fish will always be stupid" But I'm sure, you are not dumb, just a bit confused. Don't worry, it's all ok, just consider things more accurately next time. Have a beautiful day
@JuliusCaesar888
3 жыл бұрын
@@davideb.4290 you obviously don't work out like at all. It isn't hard to lift 80kg, that's a bodyweight pull up for most regular lifters. That same person may not be able to pull trucks the way "the strongest man in the world" does, which is specifically what the original comment referenced. Like I said, low IQ. Quoting a man greater than yourself doesn't elevate you to his level of thinking, btw. You just come off as a poser. Stay mad.
@davideb.4290
3 жыл бұрын
@@JuliusCaesar888 I'm sorry you feel like I'm mad at you, that wasn't my intent, nor does it represents my feeling towards you. As for regards to quoting Mr Einstein, no indeed, it does not elevate me to his level of intelligence, nor I ever claimed to be as intelligent as the physicist who formulated the theory of general relativity, I just thought it was a good example to demonstrate how ineffective IQ is as a standard of measurement for intelligence, and I didn't want to take credit for something I didn't come up with. Anyway, no, I am not a poser for the simple reason that I do not lift, I am not a bodybuilder by any means, neither do I need to be one to realize that there is a big difference between pulling/pushing and lifting, as a matter of fact I can push easily with no real effort more than 250kg, but I am confident that I cannot lift any more than 100kg, both data have been obtained empirically, so they are fairly accurate. Anyway, I don't want to sound intrusive but I think you should relax yourself a bit, because you sound pretty stressed, not that I am a particularly relaxed person, but knowing calm people I can tell they live much better than us stressed people. And if you fulfill purpose of this life even if you suffered for a hundred year once you will be dipped in paradise you will not remember the suffering because you cant compare this life to the everlasting one.And islam encourages to fight poverty ,unfortunately these countries arent and as a species all together were responsible because people dont give a damn . profesi ini telah ada sejak jaman Belanda,saya jg nggak ngerti kenapa bertahan sampai sekarang,padahal masih banyak lapangan kerja lain...saya sdh 7x mendaki gunung ini,masih lewat hutan belukar tp kin jadi t4 wisata unggulan,dulu perkilo masih dihargai 100 rupiah,rata2 bisa membawa sampai 100-120 kg sampai di paltuding..

Saya kagum ada sebuah perusahaan (PT) tambang mendapat hak konsesi belerang disini dan memperoleh banyak belerang bersih (dicuci dan dikemas saja) dengan sangat mudah, tanpa investasi fisik yg berarti, termasuk ritual kepala kambing tiap tahun, semoga produksi meningkat terus. Bisnis belerang tidak ada matinya.

I think this video is an old one and has just been uploaded now. You should take a trip to java and deliver them personally if you want to help. I don't think just shipping them over will be enough. It may be lost to corrupt hands.

This life is nothing else than a tragedy. We are in the 21st century for some, for others it is the slavery of the Roman Empire and beyond. Reality for millions is hell, too many questions to ask, too few answers given. These documentaries are an eye opener for the entire world, a lot to learn about the human condition, a lot to do to progress to more acceptable way of life.

A simple cable car would let them move workers and sulfur from the base of the crater to the edge. Without the long walk to haul the sulfur out using baskets, the mine would be much more productive. Whoever has gotten rich off of the mine should, for once, use some of his money to make a cable car, conveyor belt, or freight elevator to have mercy on these men.

This was so eye opening. I mean these men work till there death with not even the bare minimum of protection. It really hurts my heart to see decent hardworking people suffer. Isn’t there a way to set up a go fund me page for these guys. .?Atleast so they can get proper equipment? Does anyone(like the producers ) know how I can go about setting up something like that? I would appreciate it if someone could give me some informed insight. God bless these guys.

Unlike gold which is a little bit easier to mine but extremely high price. Sulfur product are so cheap, mostly for industrial processing I believe some got profit from this whole process cycle, but i guess not as greedy as those who runs "gold business"

If the company is making all that profit why can't it supply the miners with gas mask's, it may even lead to better productivity
@topanteon

Eh, because the company doesn't make that much profit. That's how much each kilo brings them. That money is then divided between other workers, utilities, supplies and so on.

I feel so bad for Andi and Matrasan. They’ve aged terribly because of that sulfur. Matrasan looks like he’s 70 instead of 31. The corporations that profit off of these poor people should be thrown in jail.
