Ascent Milwaukee is currently the world's tallest mass timber building, standing 25 stories and 284 feet tall. The project includes 19 stories of mass timber residential units, with concrete cores, on top of 6 stories of concrete, primarily parking. This series of short videos provide key insights into the design and construction process.
In this video, WoodWorks President and CEO Jennifer Cover discusses the project's structural column grid, member spans and typical member sizes with the structural engineer, Jordan Komp of Thornton Tomasetti and architect Jason Korb of Korb and Associates.
