Good video - helped me put my new blade on as the instruction manual diagrams are too small to see what you need to do. My manual said take the back spindle off which I should not have done had I jacked it more before I started. Took me an hour to do. So I should have watched you before I started on. Neil from NZ.

@@Thecheaperguy You certainly did help as I had no photo of the belt layout as it was a mess and the instruction manual is not clear which side of the front guide bolt the belt goes. I'm thinking blade sharpening will be helpful as I snapped my belt hitting a tree root.

@@njd2342 you will notice at tue begining of tye video. The front has 3 guide bolts in it. The middle bolt i had the belt ran in front of. I believe that put excess pressure on it so its now run behind all 3 of them like in the end of the video and the belts tend to last longer.

@@Thecheaperguy Thanks I'll move my belt to be at the back of the middle bolt too.

What socket size is it to remove the bolts?

Well my belt has been ruined again today - drat. Grass was too long. I noticed that the arm on the tension idler has bent. When I took of the M10 nut from the top, the bolt spins round. I'm thinking I might need to lock it from below? I'll have to wait until tomorrow when the light is better. So maybe a video on removing the pulleys and idlers would be helpful.

I will attempt a video today. Are you talking about the 2 pullys on the outside thats connected to the blades? If so, YES i believe you need a wrench on the bolt holding the blade on then back the bolt holding the pulley off with an impact. Once the sun comes up ill check it out and make a video. I hope this helps.

Im not sure what M10 bolt you are talking about. One of the side cover bolts or the 2 in the front that hold the belt in line as it travels from one blade pully to the other.

Neil here again! I have a flat rear tyre and I can't get the wheel off. Took a C clip and washer off and thought the wheel would slide off but it doesn't. Any thoughts? Thanks Neil.

Put all that back on. Crack the lugs loose. Remove them. Kick the crap out of the tire until it breaks loose from the drum.

@@Thecheaperguy Thanks for the advice. I eventually took the wheel and axle off as it would not separate. I took the wheel and axle to a tyre shop and they re-inflated it after cleaning the rim (all for no charge which was great!). Took me a couple of hours to put the whole thing back together. I shall not let my tyres deflate too much again but keep inflated with my compressor. A frustrating experience.

If your tire deflates, use a ratchet strap. Wrap it around the tire and tighten it down really snug. Stick an air compressor on it and give it some pressure until the bead seats some. Dont put too much air in bc now you need to release the strap. When you do it should reset the rest of the bead completly. Top the pressure off and away you go. Its a good way to get back to work if your in the field and the tire goes flat
