The person who looks after all these aquatiums and the beautiful fish in'em must operate on a different level. Good on him, it's absolutely mind blowing xx

This place is incredible. Never heard of anyone putting an arapaima in a tank before. The cichlids complement it so well and make it feel so real. A special treat indeed!
@kharnzarro6308

the Arapaima is probably to small at the moment to be put in the swimming pool with the large adults they have

The arapaima is named Brutus. He waits for the cichlids to feed on pellets, then he tries to nail a few of them. He knows how to fish!

Thanks for sharing this video with us, Joey. The Ohio Fish Rescue is, by far, one of the best facilities that maintain tropical fish. Arguably, their collection dwarfs many public aquariums. It is an awesome place to visit.

10:20 those are actually not teeth, the fish you focused on is Colossoma macropomum (black pacu) which have an extension of its lip which looks like fangs but are actually used to help them skim the surface for floating fruits and nuts. The other species in there is Piaractus brachypomus which is the red belly pacu that don't have that extension of the lip since they're a bit more omnivorous scavengers and tend to feed more in the water column naturally.

That was awesome haven't saw one of your video's in awhile but had to watch this. My favorite thing on KZitem is when two channels I follow collab or interview each other. Awesome video. I have been subscribed to there channel for years. Very inspiring. Learned something new. I did not realize the pig nose turtle and the fly river turtle were the same species. I thought they were different species with a similar goofy look. Someone offered me a fly river turtle years ago but I didn’t take it. Didn’t have the resources at the time to build its enclosure it deserves 🙏👍👍
