That amount of lice, they need to replace every piece of bedding… towels… combs … basically everything. This level of lice is gonna keep coming back

You get lice from people not things. So if she gets lysing, if you most likely get it from the person that gave it to her in the first place.

It’s great you were able to get her situated. My daughter has a few lice issues. I used Dawn detergent and put it on very thick. I’d let it sit for about 15 - 20 minutes to smother them. Once that was washed out I used vinegar to break down the glue on the knits. Then it was so easy to just comb and pick the nits out! It was a long process but I didn’t like the chemicals of the store bought treatments.

It's crazy to think that people are walking around in society carrying these things, and the carrier could be serving your fast food, packing your groceries, your bank cashier, your child's teacher.

You should have told him to put all of the bedding and stuff in a garbage bag and just throw it all away.

What a great ending to a sad situation. I don’t think the shampoos really work well anymore either because there were still bugs alive when I started combing my nephew who came to visit me with a bad case once

Why had it been left like this? The whole house bedding everything needs boiling or throwing

Just the other day I found out my granddaughter has lice 😮 Right after she spent the night at my house. She has it so bad too. Right now my daughter and granddaughter are battling with lice and it’s an infestation. She was cleared by the school nurse last month so we just thought she had a dry itchy scalp. I just can’t believe that I didn’t see them when she was here, that’s how horrible she has it. They have done the whole otc shampoo kit, but they’re still not all dead. She is repeating the kit over again in a couple days but shouldn’t the lice be dead right now?

I'm not trying to be cynical but I'm pretty doubtful of these lice techs. The lice do get in the pubic area and if you simply put your hand in the area it can transfer back to scalp. Also alot of the lice fall to shoulders where you'd have to hand pick the lice. I've basically been scraping like this in my own hair for years, it's never been totally gone in a magic hour. You have to hand pick out all the eggs.

Well Pubic lice and head lice are 2 different things.. you can not get one from the other .. head lice you get from head to head contact and pubic lice you from sexual contact.. I deal with people who only have head lice .. I feel what your saying is kind of irrelevant..
