Had my 2 weeks of the post Camino blues but heading to Portugal tomorrow. I’ll still keep at least one video coming every week and might start doing a few lives again next week too 😊

Thank you for another great video Nick. The scenery was awesome. How many miles were you having to walk each day between accommodation?
@NickLivingLife

Thanks 😊. There were no huge distance days on this Camino. Everything was on average 20-25km, but a few of the days had a bit more challenging terrain (less so than the Vadinience though). 😊

@@NickLivingLife have to agree with you Nick 😂. I backpacked Thailand and traveled on roads like that, local buses right on the edge literally! no doors no windows sitting on bags of rice, chickens flying around, Thai people eating rotten eggs. Then canyoning in south of France wow that was on the edge 😂. Then there was bungy jumping in NZ. Hmmm... Does this sound like I've got adventure in my veins😂.

I’d say so!! And the Kiwis and South Africans certainly know how to make an extreme Bungee 😊😊

Hi Nick, it's Grace from California 😊 Are you planning to walk all around Spain? I thought you were going home for a rest? Nice to see you again🌞🌻

Oh, ok. Where are you starting from? Did Erica and Ricky talk you into it?😉 It is nice that you can trek. I thought I could make it for the Frances in September, but I am not strong enough yet. We will see. Buen camino, Nick👋🌞🌻

Sorry for the delay in responding Grace, I only just found this message. I’m only doing a sit by a pool thing in Portugal and a few local walks 😊

It’s a think hard whilst sitting down, sort of hmm. Although, your photography makes this Camino/ add on/ detour, look really beautiful/ inviting and a temptation. Have I the time to squeeze it in though…..

It’s definitely worth the time, but then so are many others. What’s your next adventure? 😊

I’m not decided on my next adventure. What normally happens is I just go, I give myself a week usually (I can’t afford to retire yet-“unless I want to be sidelined as the cheery, happy bloke on shelf filling”) but I have to get as much into that week as possible. Needless to say, I’m in between a couple of home pilgrimages and then there’s the adventures. I think what I might have to do is one of the longer Caminos in stages….
@NickLivingLife

😂can’t beat a bit of therapeutic shelf filling 😂. Doing the big ones in stages is a great idea. The travel there and back from home is probably the difficulty. Good luck with the “home pilgrimages”, that can be hard work. 👍😉😊
