I was in Manville Saturday. Caught nothing in 30 minutes so my daughter was bored and had to leave. My kids expect me to catch a fish on my first cast! Oh the pressure.

I started fishing tubes with rattles a couple of years ago, and my catch rate went up, so I believe in them.

Yeah got my first small mouth for this year on Saturday but also got rob couple of times by some pike by breaking my line off and swimming away with my lures stuck to their faces 😄

Those toothy critters sure do like to eat plastic and metal! At least you got a smallie.

I am not sure which is the worst part of us not getting any rain lately. The pollen not getting quickly being washed away or the low water levels all over.

What do you think happens to those rainbows in the warm water? Do they just die? Such a shame if so
@FishingWithLardAlmighty

Rainbow trout can't survive water temperatures above 77 degrees. As they die, a lot get eaten by other fish and animals. A handful will be able to find deep pools and springs to ride out the summer.
