Unless you've got some sort of natural freakishly good timing and speed and accuracy and know-how about the techniques without learning them first haha. Which would be pretty impressive i must say. 😂 And yes i realize "natural freakishy" is abit of a self-contradictory statement... but someone who could do that would be a walking self-contradiction anyway so. 🤪 Plus if it took three seconds to master, id be sick of it in about, two seconds. 😏

True but I learned it fast, he's not a boxer BTW but he has mastered this and it's great coordination skills that even those in wheelchair can utilise, it's akin to being able to do crazy basketball ball spinns or soccer tricks, punches on the speed bag aren't real punches they're all from the elbow and never ever will you see them in boxing altho some of the short elbow strikes could work in mma, I love Khan the speed bag legend he's awesome, also boxers use speed bag because it's great for timing much like the jump rope

Showed them why he's the teacher! That was great. I used to do the speed bag when i was a kid taking karate. They had one at the back with the other bags. I got pretty good at it after a few months. Now, 25years later i tried it again at a buddy's house. I could barely hit it a second time. This takes so much practice and patience.

yup u gotta relax and flow with the rhythm plus u know what the bag is gonna do when u hit it sooo just remember that and stay there with timing and patience thats how im getting it and within a week good determination 💪🏿 💯✌🏿😎🙏🏿

I've been working out on speedbag for the past year and am getting a lot better, but no where near this guy's level. One thing I know for sure is that the less tense you are the better a rhythm you can keep. This guy is as loose as can be. He's probably done this most of his life and doesn't even think about it.

the discipline to get to this level is near otherworldly. I "hit" the bag at the gym I go to which is to say, I do my best, but I have always been astounded at the discipline and ability of a coach/fancy bagger (I just heard that term here so - I gotta use it) such as this man. Amazing

If you've never done speed bag work please give it a try. It is an awesome shoulder workout if you keep your elbows up and it becomes almost addictive. You will want to do it every time you go in the gym. Also smaller the bag faster the speed so start with a larger diameter bag then work down to small ones. You will eventually get to machine gun rhythm with very little effort.

Notice how relaxed and loose his hands are. He's not using a tight, clinched fist. It moves the minds focus from the hand to the elbow. Turns it into a whipping action.

A young Irish American lad watched Alan Khan demonstrate this many years ago and the rhythm always stuck in his head. Eventually the lad grew up and started dancing. This lad got pretty good at dancing but always had the rhythm from that speed bag demo in his head. This lad grew up to be Michael Flatley. Creator of Riverdance. Source: Trust me bro.
