I am a transman who didn't start T until I was in my 50s and I will be 60 next year. I am now a gay, asexual, polyamorous man who has a beautiful person who I call my Heart. She has stuck with me through the changes caused by T which included making my quiet anxiety a roaring hermitness. I know I am lucky and blessed to have her. I lost my birth family but gained my forever family in her and my metamours from her polycule!! Life is too hard for hate.

“One page of the bible isn’t worth a life.” My favourite line from the song. I’m a Christian but a non-binary person and for the longest time never felt accepted in my own community. I feel better and have found more accepting places for my religion and my identity and feel so much happier

The line about having one day of shelter then it’s Sunday hell to pay hits me so hard. It was so true in my life as a teen. I had to go to church and listen to a man that practically raised me preach about how people like me were just confused sinners damned to hell by the “choice” we made

It’s not even a page, it’s like one line… It’s so horrible and hypocritical that “Christians” treat anyone like this… 😢 Love all my LGBTQIA brothers and sisters and non-binary folks ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

I had heard this song a while ago but I didn't see the music video until recently. Let me tell you, nonbinary me SOBBED through this video. Cis people can never understand the feeling of cutting off all your hair and looking in the mirror and suddenly recognizing the person in the mirror for the first time in your entire life

Oh, I am an old cis woman who was in PFLAG for many years, where I learned so much. The scene where the young man has cut off his long hair and finally sees himself as he has always imagined is so powerful - I certainly can imagine how he feels, the relief, the recognition of his self.

It's so sad that as humans we try to change or get rid of people who are different ☹ and those people should never be shunned for who they are or have to hide 😔

If you can watch or even listen to this song and not have tears in your eyes then there's something wrong with you. This story is something that no human being should have to live through. Love each other unconditionally, because we are all different in our own ways. STOP THE HATE. When you hate someone, remember that someone else hates you. Love is the answer to all our problems.
