16:52 - Sounds to me like one of pixar's "secret ingredient" that we don't see a lot of in the industry. The ability to just float around multiple projects inside Pixar for a couple of year and take the time to be refreshed creatively. So many projects get rushed to production asap as if they were going to miss the boat... In the end, if the story is good, it should'nt matter if it take 3, 5 or even 10 years to come out right?

Nice conversation. One of my observations-the reason you want to give your protagonist/hero obstacles is that you want the audience to cheer for him/her, whether he/she succeeds or not.
