I feel like I have gained another writing buddy ☺ glad you had such a beautiful honeymoon, the pics are gorgeous. Have you thought about getting a Thank You button? I for one would be sure to give it some love 😊

Congratulations! 😄Your honeymoon looked amazing. Peeked that Six of Crows on the beach lol. If you like camping and fantasy, have you tried Larpingggg? And finally, I also had no idea there was a July Nano, but I have been thinking to myself for a few weeks, I bet people have to pre-plan for Nano and are starting now… 🤔

Ooh, I have been thinking similarly about Camp Nano. I gotta break down my writing goals, too! 😅 Wow, the blue lakes & sea(?) look stunning! 💙 btw, I love ducks 🦆 too! They are so cute! You’ll probably get used to saying “husband” soon 😂💞

Breaking down goals is key!! and it is still so so weird to say husband 😂😂

I'm using Camp to do intensive prep, so instead of a hard word count goal, I have a list of 12 things to do which will hopefully end in an outline...so you're miles ahead of me! Congrats on 2K 😊

NO, BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW CAMP NANOWRIMO HAPPENED IN JULY Also, you're so relatable, like you help me keep things realistic to accomplish my book! As for questions, how do you go about worldbuilding (Locations you pick, why, magic, etc), and also how do you decide which perspective you write in?

Love the update, also congratulations! I’m in the editing stage of one project, and I’m struggling with being motivated to finish it by its deadline. I’m just not a fan of editing! 😅 I’m also trying to wrap up the first draft of another project. It’s a busy summer, I’m hoping to find inspo to keep going with your writing updates. ❤

I unfortunately am a fan of the editing stage but man do I relate to the struggle of it all - it can be harder sometimes to find motivation in the edits vs. the draft bc you already have a "finished product." I hope you're able to find inspo too to keep you going 💗

Absolutely loving your content, all of your videos have been such a huge help to me with trying to bring my first proper book idea into something tangible. If your taking requests I would love a book breakdown on crescent city by Sarah j myers. I love the murder myserty element of it. ❤

I have definitely been dying to do a Sarah J Maas book or series - I just don't know if everyone would love what I had to say 😅 I do LOVE the world building in Crescent City and Book 1's mystery is so good!!!

This year, I'm not participating (for the first time since 2019). I'm moving, and it's costing me a lot of my free time. However, I'm excited to see everyone's progress! I'm still translating my debut novel, and I've started brainstorming way too many projects. 1 Project is ready to go for writing, and I have you to thank for that! I used your writing process and sheet and I absolutely loved it
@mikwrites

Great question! Thank you!! and that is a lot of projects already - translating is a big load and isn't it annoying when you're working on something and all these other ideas pop in?? 😂 I'm glad that the process sheet worked for you!

I would just recommend you google the NaNoWriMo controversy so you know what you are putting your name on. I personally stepped down as a volunteer not only because of what happened, but how it was handled by HQ in the aftermath. (And I'm not alone, I saw many other volunteers also step down for their own reasons." I'm not one to gossip, but this isn't a small issue. Anyways, I am also writing my zero draft during July and hoping to finish it by the end of the month. Good Luck on your writing!!

So happy for you hitting 2K and I’m happy you’re here with us in this little corner of the internet! 😊 Lastly, a writers take on SCANDAVOL!?!? SIGN ME UP!!
